"noni" is legitimately something that could easily be written by accident when trying to write "no no", too. Because if you miss the space bar and hit i instead of o (they're right next to each other!), you get noni.
I wonder if that's how the fruit got its name. (Probably not.)

Just a video suggestion but there are these fruits native to the carribean, I know they're in Puerto Rico for sure. We call them kenapas but they're called a bunch of things and they're really tasty with a distinct flavor and mango like texture.

My parent have this tree in their frontyard, they sell the fruits to farmer as a pest repeler (like rodent, snail, snake) on rice farm, it work wonder as organic pest repeler and it was generally know for being part of traditional medicine, but it wasn't good for consumtion at all due to awful smell and horrible taste.
