I've only run 2 so take it with a grain of salt, but this one was way easier than the Atlanta Beast, not only is the weather better but it had less hills to climb, I'd say yes
I just did the beast in Newberry on November 16th. I didn’t use my watch because I thought I would mess it up. Do you know how far your total distance was and elevation gain?
I don't wear a Smart Watch, but I think the course was a little different this year - I saw in the Southern Spartans Faceook Group someone post that they had 13.17miles and 1,578 elevation on their watch from this years race
doing the 10k in 2 weeks anything I need to be aware of that beginners don't know? Im trying to not do research on any obstical until I see it for the first time to make it harder
@@Preston_Scales nice man! I’d say just be ready for lots of hills, off road and hope you can do some pull ups and carry some heavy stuff - it’s definitely challenging but that’s why we do it 👍🏻
This was my first Spartan race ever! Weather was perfect! Great day!!! Good job brother!
Nice man - for sure on the weather, couldn't have had better conditions
Your time was crazy! I will be doing this next week
Have fun! I'll be doing the 10K and 5K, already got my Beast out of the way in Atlanta this year
Nice job on beater and twister
👊🏻 Thanks!
Good job. What camera did you used? Was that a mouth bracket?
Go Pro 9 and yep, it's a bite mount (hold it with your mouth like a mouthguard)
Thinking about doing an “open”
Beast there next month to complete a ‘24 trifecta! Would you recommend this course for a first timer Spartan beast?
