- This video is a full step by step guide/walkthrough for my viewers on how to download and install three different mods for Among Us. I show you how to download the zip files for Town of Host, Town of Host: The Other Roles, and The Other Roles. Three unique mods that have their own sets of different roles and extra perks players can have fun and experiment with.

I think there might need to be an update on how to install these since when I tried to install the most recent version of the Town Of Host mod it took me back to the older version of among us and didn't say Town Of Host on the menu screen. I find it kind of difficult finding guides on how to install more recent versions since most videos are 10 months and older sadly. Thanks for the instructional video tho

Can I just click on online and play with strangers on the modded version? Because I'm confused on what I can do and what I can't. Or is it only playable when you create/join a private room?

HEY i did all the steps but when i open among us it just shows a black screen for 2 seconds and then closes so what do i do

Why do some people black screen, and as host I get mini lag spikes? Everything works mod wise. Wondering if people pets or cosm makes a difference?
I don't have a specific answer for you on why people black screen. It seems to have specific people and it doesn't happen everytime for some reason so it has to be something on there end.
I 100% recommend to follow his steps. Since the mods work perfectly fine with my pc

I tried the second one and whenever I try to open the short cut it closes right after it opens and I only see the icon in my apps docs and I can’t even click on it while it’s open

Does everyone have to have the mods or does just the host need the mods, and if only the host needs the mods, can everyone else be on different platforms?

So luney you have to update this guide they now have to set it to previous versions cause of how the game works other then that they'll be met with a black screen or it will constantly crash
Yeah I figured they would update the mod files eventually. Will see. Maybe not since there are other games like goose goose duck that have all the mods in the game already

Uhhh I'm not sure why that happens but your definitely not the only one. Just make sure you using steam, and the most recent zip file. Try reinstalling it and giving it time to load. are you using a chrome book or anything like that? I'm not sure if different PCs work differently.

Lol yeah that one is in Japanese but your browser should have a translator on it that you can just press.

I did all the steps but it either won't launch, or will launch for a few seconds, give me a black screen and then just crash 😮💨
Yeah none of the mods have been working since they updated Among Us. The devs have to update the mods for them to work💯

So I can open the modded game and get into a lobby but no one else can join, it says no game can be found when they try to enter the code. I also can only get into a lobby on EU modded selection but I am NA. Do you have tips to fix players being able to join?

yeah mine too, i downloaded a more old version tho and it didnt detect a virus or anything. My other roles mod doesnt work tho

It works if your playing in a lobby with someone that has the mod. Will be a little glitchy tho of your on console.

Hmmm well there is Among Us on the app store if you have a smart phone!💯 and I would check epic games to see if they charge anything. Otherwise yeah just steam and those two other places. Feel free to join my Among Us mod live streams to play with me and the community🙂
