@cubasbestkeptsecret the glue is a specail kind of glue mad for your hair, it only damages your hair if you get the extensions out and the same day you get new ones in!, youur supposed to leave a 2month break befor getting them put in again its a fact;)
@BroodjeSalami The extensions don't cause your hair to fall out. You loose hair every day everyone does. But with the extensons being in, the hair that would normally just fall out when you brush it and such its trapped in. It can't fall out because of the glue. And this continues to happen for dasy or weeks. The hair gets trapped. So when the extensions get taken out all that hair that fell out normally comes out with it. Meaning the glue does not make it fall out.
I don't know what's so sloppy about her work,I thought she did a great job. After watching,I could even do that.Only I think I'll double the wefts, like a lot say to do,to make it more even at the bottom & fuller throughout. Thanks for the video.Great job!
can you have glue in extensions to hide a side sweep fringe, im growing it out and its just below my bottle lip, but i really want rihanna' s inverted bob so need it longer
yep im licensed too and ive been doing extensions for 7 years :). i said to blowdry in the video and to add more, but the audio isnt working on youtube. this was just a quick video to show how to do it.
i was told like the comment above and just put it on the hair, lasted 3 days. never did glue in extensions again, going to try it once more but going to do it how you explained this time. XD
@BroodjeSalami Well I kinda know what I said was true because my cousin attended Paul Mitchells Academy. And I will be attending next fall. But you are also right because the glue also still bonds to some hair and pulls it out. But not to much if you use the glue remover or a lot! of conditioner.
@DaisyFangs trust me....if you wear these glue in weaves your own hair gets very thin, and yes, your hair can come out. i've been wearing these weaves for about 5 years now and my hair is soooo thin, never grows, and I have several bald spots. Unfortunately, now my own hair is so thin that I have to wear a weave or wig. Be careful; give your hair a serious break in between. I can't let even my family see me without a weave or wig or hat on and I use to have long beautiful hair.
you can wash your hair but make sure you don't use conditioner around the roots because the oils in conditioner loosens the glue. itll last anywhere from 1-4 weeks depending on how gentle you are with it
the girls natural hair is beautiful she doesnt need to put glue in her hair if shes trying to get longer hair she could have just used clip ins. glue is going to ruin her hair
@DaisyFangs so true iam sick of people saying stuff like that iv also been using glue in extensions since i was 13 and my hair hasent falling out or anything like that:)
@nickbaker101 oh well excuse me! haha I have to confess I didn't realise that! you have a good point there mate , cause i always did hair that way and lots of people say theyve lost hair! i did 2 cause when i looked at the extentions my i saw my own hair glued 2 the line where you put the glue on, so I still think it kinda does take some of your hair but what you say can be very true though
Actually I agree that you shouldn't put the glue on the scalp with glues like liquid gold. Not sure about the other glues that are widely available. This method is great to grow hair btw. Not damaging I'd done properly. Thanks for video.
I use bond glue on my hair often. ANd my hair never came out. But before you apply the extensions you can prep your hair wot a leave in condition. Which makes your hair stronger, aNd when you finally remove the extensions you should use a bond remover, warm water and shampoo. After you shampoo and condition your hair, you should deep condition it. If you do this cycle for applying and taking out. Your hair should be fine.
if you use a blow dryer to dry the glue it will last a lot longer and it takes less time to put them in...i use the same kind of glue for my hair... mine stay in for at least 3 weeks.
@NMMinc that must of been the problem i had,... everyone said not to put it on the scalm so i put it an inch downward, i got to scared cuz i got a bit on my scalp. they did slide out in 2 days, and when i went to wash my hair it was just a disaster so i removed them. though, i put glue ins cz i heard i can put my hair in a ponytail with them, if they are in my scalp will that still be possible? i wish wish wish i could pay you to come do my hair XD but you are very far from me.
The line on her scalp were you are putting the weave on isnt even straight :s and it DOES damage your hair, ive did this a 100 times and when you get them out you notice youve losted alot of hair
Ok so i have tried glue in extentions and every time i do it the next day the track is ready to just peel off like an old sticker. I have used the blower and teased my hair used hair spray used a lil more glue but same thing happens and i can literally roll the glue off like the clear sticky adhesive u get on the back of a mailed in credit card. Idk wat im doing wrong?
@cubasbestkeptsecret No. You put half of the weft on the scalp, and half on the hair. If you put it just on the hair it will slip out within a few days.
I wish you had sound.. I have "white" hair and I have been searching for a tutorial that explains the best way to glue in a weave so that it does not slip out...
i am lovin this video

5 stars. You did a fabulous job.
now that's how a weave should look! Job well done!
Came out nice...how did you remove it and did the client lose any hair?
that looks great like for real

Great explanation!
i like the video, very helpful, i just wish it had audio. i could't hear anything

good video. did you put glue on scalp?
that is really weird, i don't know why the audio isn't working. ill email youtube and see if they can fix it
Thanks for sharing your tips with us. New subbie here.
it has been pretty much stopped alot of places because it can give you bald spots or hair thinning from hair loss...
if you use a blow dryer to dry the glue it will last a lot longer and it takes less time to put them in...i use the same kind of glue for my hair... mine stay in for at least 3 weeks.
@DaisyFangs oh wow thats nice to know, do you glue it on your scalp or hair line?
the sound dont work
is there a way to make them last longer?
aww thanks girl! i was taught by black girls, you guys know best! haha
Uhh is it human hair?
@StefanieLopez2012 every type of hair extention makes ur head itchy the hair is itchy and its not urs lol of coarse it will feel weird
The line on her scalp were you are putting the weave on isnt even straight
:s and it DOES damage your hair, ive did this a 100 times and when you get them out you notice youve losted alot of hair
how long do these usually last?
does is damage your hair?
there is a conditioner that is used to dissolve the glue and the extensions come right out..NEVER rip them out that is horrifying to think about.
@NMMinc aye can you please do mine cuz i got sum and need my hair done now....how much you charge
how many packs of hair did you use
i know extremely sloppy job..
How would you take the glue out? With oil?
Using the glue in extensions , isn't it dangerous and harmful ?
and NEVER put the tracks directly on the scalp...but very close on the root of ur hair.....
No sound
is it me or do anybody else see the tattoo that say EST.1967 on her neck
ouu girl i got that asian hair lol and i still wear weave
very damaging i seen girls who have gone bald,,, because follicles were ripped out..
See, not only black people get weaves, other races do to. Just no real spotlight on it. Just saying. Sad, but true. Good job tho :)
@aahlovesbeh94 You're clearly doing it wrong, then.
DaisyFangs has 69 thumbs ups....I thought I should point that out
The glue will cause hair losss .
