  • Hey everyone!
    Here is another day in my life! This was filmed a few weeks ago I have just been swamped with everything you can think of lately and I didn't get around editing it until recently.
    Please comment any questions you have about school, UBC, engineering or anything down below and I'd love to chat with you guys!
    See you soon :)

    Hi! I'm planning to pursue masters in biomed from ubc but I havent done biomed for undergrad is that a problem? Also is the co-op program good in UBC?

      Hi! I’m currently doing my undergrad so I’m not totally sure what the details are for graduate degrees. If you look up biomedical engineering grad degree and go to the homepage it will usually say what is required (usually it will be a biomedical engineering or related engineering undergrad) so if you have a mechanical engineering degree with biomedical focus it would be totally okay! They also look at other factors i believe such as past work experience with the application so as long as you show that you have experience with it you are good to go hopefully! I would recommend calling or looking at the engineering grad degree website. Hope this helps :)

    How hard was it to get into your uni

    • @HannahMeaney
      @HannahMeaney  3 года назад

      I think UBC engineering has a 45% acceptance rate? It depends since ubc looks at grades, personal profile and extra curriculars so there are lots of factors determining if you can get in!
      I will say tho it is in the top 3 engineering schools in Canada (tied with university of toronto depending on the scales-waterloo has always been #1) and around 32nd (i think??? Not sure how accurate that is lol) in the world so quite competitive

    damn I had 25 midterms this sem at UofT engineering RIP

    • @HannahMeaney
      @HannahMeaney  3 года назад

      I’m taking a reduced course load cause of covid! The rest of my program had around 30 midterms and 6 finals (thats typical if midterms are split into tests) I just don’t perform as well online so am splitting my second year into two years :)

    • @HannahMeaney
      @HannahMeaney  3 года назад

      For some reason a lot of classes this year at UBC cause of covid used multiple tests instead of 2 “midterms” so one of my maths had 4 midterms haha so it adds up if you take 6-7 courses for sure
