A 15 mill sub channel getting 700 ish likes on a video is kinda insane. He really speed ran burning his stuff into the ground with his AI. Its almost impressive.

i did some research and surprisingly his ai is working. he has a channel called Bloo which is literally doing 30 MILLION views per month using the same shitty software. So if your question is to why he is still doing this, its because it is actually working. the only reason it isnt working on his main channel is because everyone already knows him as kwebbolkop

DougDoug is AI content done right and Failboat. They don't treat it like a replacement, they treat it like a tool and make it hilarious. That's how you do it.

Doug likes to torture himself with AI, but also with chat. And sometimes he mixes both, which usually goes wrong.

I also find it hard to believe he has 15M "real" subscribers considering he gets under 100K views on each video. Maybe all of these people simply haven't unsubscribed yet don't watch his videos, or he's botting his subscribers and I wouldn't be surprised if it's the latter

Okay, so I'm pretty sure that's not AI generated, just photoshopped badly. The only inconsistency is the far eye being being much larger and blurrier than the other eye, but considering the teeth and hand are in line, the anatomy of the mouth is correct, the pupils are not misshapen, and while the hair at first looks like AI mess, is actually just a camera problem not picking up the curly hairs clearly; my conclusion is this isn't AI, just really bad photoshop.
That's not to give him credit btw, I just wanted to it out because there is a lot of problems of peoples photos/drawings being written off as AI because people don't actually look out for the actual signs of AI.
That makes sense. I tend to think I have a decent eye for it, but it's good to be corrected
The thing that gets me is that in Kwebblekop's perfect world where AI influencers have completely pushed humans out of the content creator space and are uploading exponentially more videos... where's the value in that? Is a RUclips with billions of AI-generated videos of any given day's algorithmically-perfect topic a platform people want? Because that is Kwebblekop's ideal internet.

Vedal probably is the closest someone can currently get to having an AI content creator, and it’s still pretty clunky. He just managed to make that part of the charm, rather than soulless and vaguely unsettling like this guy.
I grow less interested and more uncomfortable about this AI craze every week, it feels like.
His content usually have him along side with Neuro to make a father-daughter dynamic which make his content unique. It's something that surprisingly no one else catch on and copy it. But I guess most people who do AI content aren't the programmer of the AI and vice versa.

Great video! Algorithm really came through as I've always found myself falling into the Kwebblekop AI rabbit hole every-so-often. I remember checking their channel and finding the 10 month gap only to realise they removed a lot of the AI content as well. I DID NOT know that he just kept going, but made it less obvious in the thumbnails and titles until I double-checked the other ones.

I think he is trying to capitalize off of Neuro-sama or Vedal. Neuro-sama is an AI VTuber created by a man who goes by "Vedal". His twitch is also Vedal. He has been working on Neuro-sama for years, and the reason Neuro is interesting is because he ACTUALLY shows the development. He doesnt just release shitty videos with Neuro barely functioning and try to claim its revolutionary. Vedal streams him working on Neuro, and he streams Neuro doing primary entertainment too. So as a viewer we get the fun of him interacting with his AI while its barely working (moreso just it talking shit to him now) and we get to see the fruits of his labor manifest in Neuro's solo or collab streams, and it can be amazing how well Neuro converses with people. With Kwebblecock we just get to see some sad guy, who obviously doesnt want to do youtube and just wants to make money from it, post videos of his AI and him play games. Where the AI barely functions, the AI says nothing interesting, the AI causes extreme uncanny valley, the creator tries to make it seem revolutionary but we can all see its ass, and the creator tries to make himself out as some genius working toward the "fuuuuuuuuuuUUUUUUtUUUUUURREeeeeeee". Now he says he also has a TEAM making that piece of shit? Vedal is one dude making Neuro and Neuro functions far better than Kewbbelcocks AI. He is so delusional he actually thinks hes doing something new lmfao. Also, Neuro-sama, is meant to emulate VTubers. So she has an anime-esque avatar, which causes uncanny valley to not be an issue.
If Kwebbelcock was actually interested in the innovation of AI RUclipsrs and AI companions, then he would be looking at what Vedal does and innovating. Since Vedal is the only successful indie AI RUclipsr creator.

Looking at the videos its really sad, like when other friends play games together you feel a sense of happiness with them knowing that they can goof around and be random what they can do. Seeing him talk to an AI version of himself is just like him talking to someone who he can change lines to make them whatever they want. Which ruins the idea of what I love in a lot of videos with other people, just a feel good time and not a talking to someone who you can change to be what you want.

When the AI spoke in that Minecraft video, it was like someone took an essay, translated it into a foreign language, and then translated it again in a different foreign language, and then back to English.
Early AI stuff was endearing because it was garbled nonsense that you could never even consider actually using for anything, then it improved and stupid people started to think it could replace real artists.
Now we're at a point where there's so much AI output out there that they're all learning off of one another, and while the issues everyone memes about like Hands and background Faces are getting better, it's all just so homogenous and uncanny, even the average consumer that doesn't even know AI exists can look at it and be instinctually repulsed.
A content creator that uses AI properly is Dougdoug. He doesn't use it as a means to 'automate' or whatever, he uses it in hand with his usual commentary. One of my favorite examples was when he struggled through a pajama sam game only listening to the instructions of an AI model he built based off of pajama sam...
The stream went on for about ten hours ( the beginning was coding, for the most part. ) since it kept running in circles, and it's an absolute riot of a watch.
When you're goofing off and just leaning into the insanity, AI incorporation can be done well... Just don't use AI art, please. It hurts artists like myself. BABAGABOOOSH!!!

I just love how obsessed Kwebbel is with realistic AI content creators, when there's Neuro-sama, an extremely successful AI VTuber who's main appeal is that she often talks nonsense and goes on random rants, and from time to time becomes aware lmao. Vedal, her creator, is also a big part of her channel too and just as iconic as her.
We don't need super duper realistic AI influencers, if people want more AI CCs, the best route is going for self aware humour just like Neuro's.

@@kzcciynk ? I am. I just find it funny how many point out at Kwebbel's failure being because of AI, when there's a huge AI CC out there named Neuro-sama. The main difference between them is that Vedal, her developer, doesn't take the idea too seriously, the absolute opposite of Kwebbel, who seeks absolute realism.
The thing is, an AI streamer or youtuber isn't an inherently bad idea. There's this AI Vtuber called Neurosama and she's hilarious, it's really fun seeing her interacting with her creator and witnessing their evolution. Neuro's collabs with real people are genuinely entertaining simply because how unhinged and random the AI is. Kwebbelkop's attempt at automating content creating is just the most wrong and pathetic way to do this.
I won't lie. Ever since the ai voices thing started becoming a thing I wanted someone to attach it to a baritone (Minecraft bot) and see how it would play out. I'm just disappointed that Kwebbel had to be the one to do it.

But honestly he’s made his money, he’s done his time on yt, by using the ai he’s still able to make an income, keep creating the content some people love, and he’s able to have all the free time he wants. The only thing I like about AI is the AI chatbots and watching people fuck around with those. Basically, sites like CAI, Venus, NovelAI, and even Agnaistic. I enjoy roleplaying with real people more, but sometimes, when I want to RP with a comfort character, it's better to use AI to get it done so you do not have to compromise with another person who doesn't want to do that.

I don't have the 'tism but grew up with many friends on the spectrum or had learning disorders so I just had a hunch since he reminded me of those friends' behaviours.

It would honestly be more impressive for him to create a video showing how he created the AI and go through the process of creating a video, because except for the fact that the AI sounds like a depressed version of him, it could pretty well just be him pretending to be an AI version of himself, which would be very very funny if that’s the case. To me, it’s impressive (not a in terms of content but with the alleged AI)
If there's one thing I could take away from watching DougDoug, is that if you leave AI on its own for a while, it will start mumbling crazy shit, and that's exactly what happen with Kwebbelkop's AI, and he think this shit's sustainable for his career, lmao
somone should petition the legal canclation of the Kwebbelkop ai's development so this guy can return to reality
And even the biggest AI vtuber, Neuro-sama, has a factor that makes her worth watching, the collabs and the dev behind her.
