There was only 3 decrees - not 4 - what is assumed to be the 4th is really only a request by Nehemiah...all the other decrees start out with the same phrase - I make a decree, Ezra 6: 1 & 3 & 6 & 11...7:13 ...compare with the request of Nehemiah in 2: 4.......this is why most people get the starting date wrong...there were only 3 decrees and they emphasized the same thing...so in actuality they were one.

I’m confused please show me. I times 360 by 69 and I get 24840 not 173880.??? Where I am going wrong pls ?

      Great question! 360 has to be multiplied by 7 first as it's 360 "weeks" or "sevens" to be more literal. 360 x 7 x 69 = 173880

The 1599 Geneva Bible is the Bible the Pilgrims brought to America. What was their understanding of Daniel 9:27? Did they believe the “covenant with the many” in Daniel 9:27 is the “covenant with the many” in Matthew 26:28, which is the New Covenant? Did the angel Gabriel appear to Daniel to reveal the timeline of the Messiah who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34, and then the angel failed to even mention the New Covenant?
The following comes from the notes of the 1599 Geneva Bible.
    ………………………………………………………………
Dan 9:27 And he shal confirme the couenant with many for one weeke: and in the middes of the weeke he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the ouerspreading of the abominations, he shall make it desolate, euen vntill the consummation determined shalbe powred vpon the desolate.
    Daniel 9:27
And he (a) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to (b) cease, (c) and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
    (a) By the preaching of the Gospel he affirmed his promise, first to the Jews, and after to the Gentiles.
    (b) Christ accomplished this by his death and resurrection.
    (c) Meaning that Jerusalem and the sanctuary would be utterly destroyed because of their rebellion against God, and their idolatry: or as some read, that the plague will be so great, that they will all be astonished at them.
    ………………………………………………………………………………
During recent years many New Covenant scholars have examined Daniel chapter 9 from a New Covenant perspective. Did Christ fulfill the summary found in Daniel 9:24? Is it about the New Covenant fulfilled by the blood of Christ at Calvary?
Dan 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
    Heb 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
Heb 10:17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. (These two verses are quoted from Jeremiah 31:31-34.)
Heb 10:18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
Act 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
The death of the Messiah is found in Daniel 9:26, and there are only two possible singular antecedents for the word “he” in the next verse. Those antecedents are either Christ or Titus, who was the prince of the people that destroyed the temple during 70 AD.
Dan 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Is the “he” in Daniel 9:27 the “Messiah”, or “the prince” of the people that destroyed the city and the sanctuary in verse 26? If we used “the people of the prince” it would not be a singular “he”.
Does the author of the Book of Hebrews connect the New Covenant with the Messiah’s death found in Daniel 9:26, in the verse below?
Heb 9:15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. (NKJV)
Verse 26 also says the Messiah would be cut off “after” the 69 weeks. If I agree to paint your house “after” 69 weeks, it will not be painted until the 70th week, or after. Is there a “gap” of almost 2,000 years between the 69th week and the 70th week, or was it fulfilled during the first century when the Gospel was preached “first” to the Jews?
We know there is a time period when the Gospel was taken “first” to the Jews, as the Apostle Paul said in the verse below.
Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
Can we find a time period of about seven years when the Gospel was taken “first” to Daniel’s people during the first century? If we can, we have good evidence that the 70th week of Daniel has already been fulfilled.
Did Christ command His disciples to take the Gospel only to Israel in the passage below?
Mat 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: "Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans.
Mat 10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Mat 10:7 And as you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.'
Is the time period when the Gospel was preached “first” (Rom. 1:16) to the Jews in the passage above, confirmed in the passage below?
Act 10:36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
    Act 10:37 That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;
Act 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
In the passage above Luke confirms the fact that the Gospel of Christ was preached throughout the land of Israel after the baptism which John preached. Here again, we have a text which reveals a time period when the Gospel was taken “first” to the Jews, as Paul said in Romans 1:16.
Bible scholars have looked at the number of Passover celebrations in the Gospels and have estimated Christ’s earthly ministry to have lasted about three and one half years. Was the Gospel taken “first” (Rom. 1:16) to the Jews for a period of about three and one half years during the period of time revealed in the Gospels?
How did Peter address the crowd on the Day of Pentecost when about 3,000 Israelites accepted the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34, and fulfilled by the blood of Christ at Calvary?
Act 2:36 "Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."
We know there was a time period between Calvary and Paul’s conversion, because he held the coats of those who stoned Stephen. Since Pentecost was almost 2 months after Christ died at Calvary, we know a time period of several months may have occurred before Paul came to faith in Christ.
What did Paul say below about the time period between his conversion and the day he went to see Peter?
Gal 1:14 And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.
Gal 1:15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,
Gal 1:16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
Gal 1:17 Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
Gal 1:18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.
In the passage above the Apostle Paul reveals there was a time period of about 3 years between the time of his conversion and the time he went to see Peter. Therefore, we know Paul did not start preaching the Gospel to the Gentiles until at least three years after his conversion.
Can we find a time period of about seven years when the Gospel was taken “first” (Rom. 1:16) to the Jews, before Paul began preaching the Gospel to the Gentiles?
3 ½ years during the earthly ministry of Christ
    (Matt. 10:5-7, Acts 10:36-38)
Several months between Christ’s death and Paul’s conversion
3 years between Paul’s conversion and the time he went to see Peter.
    (Galatians 1:14-18)
If the time periods above are added up we get a total time period of about seven years when the Gospel was taken “first” to Daniel’s people, before Paul took the Gospel to the Gentiles. Therefore, a New Covenant understanding of Daniel chapter 9 reveals the 70th week of Daniel occurred during the first century.
Did the sacrifices cease in the middle of the week, (after about 3 ½ years), when Christ died at Calvary? Why did God rip the temple veil in half at the moment Christ died? Even though the Jews continued to sacrifice animals after Calvary, were those sacrifices accepted by God? The answer to these questions can be found in the Book of Hebrews. Was Christ the final sacrifice for sin in Hebrews 10:16-18, in fulfillment of the New Covenant?
Very few modern Christians have ever heard the New Covenant interpretation of Daniel 9:27, which is found in the 1599 Geneva Bible.

Read all of this revelation, not parts, if you truly want The only Truth Absolute.
"This question was asked of The Lord: Lord, what does it mean in the Book of Revelation, where it says, “The 144,000 did not defile themselves with women; they kept themselves pure”?[1]
Thus says The Lord to His servant: Rather the 144,000 have been purchased, redeemed and chosen from the earth as a special offering, and are spiritually undefiled, pure as virgins.[2] Timothy, you have asked, and I have answered you plainly. Thus I tell you, you are of the number, I have already placed you within their ranks; My seal is upon your forehead.[3]
Yet those who envy seek to cause doubt, by questioning your worthiness and defilement with women. And because of this, they reject My Word spoken to this generation. Therefore they remain in their sins, for they want no part with Me as I truly am. They have removed themselves far from Me, and seek to draw others away also, that they might feel validated in their unjust cause. Yet who The Lord has cleansed is worthy of His purpose; call him not unworthy or defiled. For that which comes from the heart of man does indeed defile the man, yet that which comes from God is holy.
Therefore fear, all you who point the finger, and humble yourselves, all you who twist My words for your own gain, lest you be found guilty of blaspheming the Holy Spirit. For the defilement which was written, and remains misinterpreted by men, is not defilement with the daughters of men, but defilement with the churches of men, who remain daughters of the church called mother. For she is a harlot, says The Lord. Thus spiritual purification begins with grace, and is for those whom I have chosen to become virgin in spirit, even a complete cleansing of every aspect of their lives.
All men are defiled, having fallen
      Into all manner of diverse temptations;
There is none righteous in all the earth, no, not one...
Yet all who repent, in sincerity and in truth,
Are cleansed in the blood of The Lamb,
      Which is pure and holy...
Therefore, those whom I have called to be My witnesses
      Must become pure in heart and in spirit;
Set apart from the world and the churches of men,
Who cease not from polluting My name
And marring My image before the people.
Timothy, you have not sat among the prideful, nor have you kept the company of those deceived in the churches of men. You have accepted no doctrine at all. Indeed, you were like clay which had been molded by the world, yet remained unmolded in spirit. Behold, even when you were yet in your mother’s womb, I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet, a witness for My name, an enemy to all nations. Thus you put no faith in the doctrines of the world, nor did you accept any doctrine taught in the churches of men. As for your body and mind, yes, you did become defiled by sin, of this you were guilty, as are all who have gained maturity. Yet I have taken your sins from you and remember your iniquities no more. Therefore, I ask you, what defilement remains? For what The Lord has cleansed, in the blood of The Lamb, is a new creation - virgin.
Behold, I am the same yesterday, today, and all tomorrows to come, says The Lord. No contradiction found. Thus all error belongs to men, exploited by the wicked one for his own evil purpose. Therefore, what I have written I have written; it stands. And that which I have written through My servant, John, stands also, though it is greatly misinterpreted, the error of which is compounded by the mistranslations of men.
Yet worse still is the interpretation of My Word by men of intellect and learning, who shroud their arrogance in pretense and hide their error under the guise of established doctrine - unprofitable servants who lead My people astray. For My Word is for all who truly seek Me and long to know My ways, even to walk in them. Thus My Word can only be accepted and understood by those who have received the love of the Truth, for they abide in Me and My spirit resides within them. For how can one who stands apart from Me know Me? And how can one who teaches his own way walk with Me in Mine?
Men do not have understanding of the Scriptures in themselves! Rather it is a gift from God, received through the Holy Spirit, given to those who have placed all their trust in The Holy One, embracing Me as I truly am. Or have you never read this Scripture: The fear of The Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of The Holy One is understanding? Therefore to those who have received is all revealed, and to those who have not received is all shut away. Shall the darkness understand the light? For only those of The Light, bathed in His glory, shall see; the rest left blinded.
For until one calls on the name of The Messiah,
In sincerity and in truth, by no means shall they receive...
For He is The One who had placed
The mud upon their eyes to heal them...
Behold, He is also The Water of Siloam
Which was sent to wash them,
That they might now see, says The Lord."
      [1]Revelation 14:4 (KJV)
      [2]Revelation 14:1-4 (NLT)
      [3]Revelation 14:1
      ~
"For your ways and your teachings do always contradict sound doctrine. Indeed, your doctrines and traditions profane My holy name, as you further defile yourselves through your acceptance of pagan practices and myths, which have been passed down to you by your forefathers, men who were corrupters and given to corruption, false servants who committed adultery with the pagans and did not wholly separate themselves from the many harlotries of the Catholic Church... I tell you the truth, she shall be torn in pieces!
And yet all you churches of men remain like her, teaching always as doctrine the commandments of men, which has altogether turned you from The Truth. For you profess to know Me, yet by your works you deny Me, being disobedient, abominable, disqualified for every good work. Thus, as it was written of those who rebelled against Me at the first, so it remains concerning you at the last: Your mouths must be stopped. For you have subverted whole households, teaching things which you ought not, for the sake of dishonest gain. For I tell you the truth, you have surely blasphemed the Spirit of God! Says The Lord.
Thus I shall rebuke you sharply for your sins, by which you have rebelled against Me! I shall correct and discipline you for the multitude of your transgressions, by which you have robbed Me! For I have seen in your hearts malice and how you seek to hold others captive, how you hold their sins over their heads and cast judgment, as though it were a hook. Therefore do your sins remain! Therefore must your discipline be severe!
For if I do not punish you for your iniquities, if I do not tear down all your houses and make you very poor and desolate, you can in no wise be joined unto Me, declares The Lord. For I have not forgotten you, nor will I forsake you utterly as the wicked. I will remember you, for I have known you; no, not as you are, but as you will be, when I have broken your pride and brought your haughtiness to the ground, in the day I rob you of all your riches, says The Lord."
      ~
"I tell you the truth, the very moment one has
A change of heart do they pass from judgment into life...
For I know the hearts of men,
      And their thoughts are not at all hidden from Me;
Behold, I look upon their innermost desires,
      I know every hidden intention...
Therefore when one calls upon Me,
I know, I see, I hear, regardless of the name
By which they have come to know Me, says The Lord...
For there is but One God and One Savior, and I AM HE.
Yet understand this: In times past I overlooked the ignorance of the people. Yet now I command all people everywhere to repent in sincerity and in truth.[1] In like manner, I have overlooked the ignorance of those who call The Messiah by another name. Yet now I command all who have ears to hear, to call upon His name as it is, was, and has always been, and not as they presume it to be.[2] Indeed I am calling all tribes, tongues, peoples and nations to embrace Him as He truly is, and not as the churches of men would have Him be,[3] says The Lord."
      [1]Acts 17:30
      [2]Zephaniah 3:9
      ~
"Does not The Lord Himself search our hearts and minds, even our innermost thoughts and intentions? Does He not know who we are referring to, when we say “Jesus is Lord”? Even throughout the world, believers and unbelievers alike know the name “Jesus” (a name given to YahuShua by men) refers to He who was crucified and rose from the dead. And if we say YAHUSHUA is YAHUWAH, is this not also self-evident?
Even before the earth was made, there is ONE alone who was and is and has always been THE LORD ABSOLUTE, which by definition demands there can be only one. Thus all others, whether man, false deity or carved image, referred to as “Lord” in English or in any other language, are false! - Deceivers! Impostors! Idols! - To call any of these “Lord” is blasphemy, even on the highest order!
For thus has The Lord spoken:
      One God...
One Son, The Only Way to The Father...
      One Truth, One Word, One Messiah, One Spirit;
One Food, One Bread and One Drink...
      One Body...
      Of which I am all,
      The All in All."
      ~
"Therefore, again I call you to kiss The Son
      And bow before your King!...
For He alone is your salvation,
He alone is your only escape!...
He is The Light, The Only Way, The Only Truth!...
      There is no life apart from Him;
Apart from Him is only darkness and death,
The wide path which leads to destruction...
      YAHUSHUA-YAHUWAH
      Is His name, The Mashiach!...
The Bearer of your cross, The Lover of your soul,
The Risen One, The Mighty One of Jacob...
      Immanu El!"

The Jewish calendar does not have 360 days. The Jewish calendar is a combined lunar-solar calendar. The months are based on the moon and the year has 12 lunar months. But, a normal lunar year has as few as 353 days. So leap months are added to keep the lunar calendar in sync with the solar calendar. Prior to the Babylonian exile the Priests in Jerusalem would decide every year whether or not to add a leap month (they used the ripeness of the barley crop) in order to make sure that Passover fell in the 1st month of spring. At some point during or after the exile the Jews devised a 19 year lunar cycle that added leap months on a set schedule.
The solar year at the time of Noah was likely 360 days, but this wasn't unique to Noah. The Egyptians had a 360 day year at the time of the Exodus, but the events surrounding the Plagues altered the earth's orbit around the sun and made the solar year longer. The Egyptians kept their old 360 day year, but they started adding 5 extra days at the end of each year so their calendar stayed in line with the new solar year.

Cynthia....the 490 year prophecy found in Daniel 9:24-27 is teaching the same truth found in the parable of Matthew 21: 33-46.... in these 2 passages God is telling Israel that after they fully reject Him by crucifying Christ, He will reject them as His chosen people and that He will give the Gospel to the Gentiles. So after the 490 years, literal Israel passes away but the church becomes spiritual Israel, so now Jews can be saved as any other Gentile and that is by accepting Christ as Savior, and now the Gospel is to be given to the world via the church. But as a nation they no longer have any significance as in former days. In Mt. 21:43 it says - the kingdom of God shall be taken from you and given to another nation.
So In Daniel 9 God gives Israel 490 years to decide if they will obey Him and reach out to other nations with the Gospel but they still refuse. So, he tells them in Daniel 9:24 that he will give them 70 weeks which in bible prophecy is 490 years to fully decide. . Now the starting date for the decree is found in Daniel 9. 25 - from the going forth of the commandment to restore and rebuild Jerusalem unto the Messiah would be 69 weeks or 483 years. (that decree was given in 457 BC) So, if you go 483 years forward from 457 you come to Ad 27, the year Christ was baptized...(not killed as this speaker suggested)...he is crucified in 31 AD and then the 490 years end in 34 AD with the stoning of Stephen the first Christian martyr in Acts 7. Now remember Christ was born 4BC because King Herod died 4BC and you can google that point. When you do your calculation remember there is no zero year so you go from 1BC to 1AD, in other words you add a year on your calculator.
But then it says in the middle of the week he would be cut off - meaning he would be killed by crucifixion. So the 70th week starts from His baptism in 27 AD to 34 Ad. He preached exclusively to the Jews for 3.5 years then in Mt. 10.5 after his resurrection he told his disciples to preach only to the Jews and not the Gentiles...for another 3.5 years which equals 7 years....so in the middle of that last week which was 31 AD Christ was cut off. So, when people say the 70th week is separated from the 69 for a future fulfillment they are more than wrong. You will recall in 9. 24 it said the 70 weeks are determined upon thy people...determined , according to Strong's dictionary means - cut off...so the 70 weeks or 490 years were cut off from a larger time period, which is found in Daniel 8. 14 where it mentions the 2300 days or prophetic years, if you want info on that just ask as I know this is lengthy.
Conclusion- the decree was given 457 BC by Artaxerxes, it told when Christ would be baptized AD 27 which was 69 weeks or 483 years from 457 BC. Then in the middle of the 70th week, which was 31 AD he would be killed. Then the 490 years ended in 34 AD with the stoning of Stephen. And then from that date, Israel would no longer hold a special place as God's chosen people and the Gospel would be given to the Gentiles, and so now the church is spiritual Israel. This is also illustrated by the parable of the Prodigal son...the older brother was Israel - the younger brother was the Gentiles...hope this helps. Any questions just ask.

@@cynthiahamlin8059 I am not David, but from what I have read of his comments it looks like he and I believe along the same lines concerning Daniel 9:24-27. I know that what David King is saying is probably shocking to you. Most likely you have never heard anything like what he is saying before... What David King is saying is that the 70 weeks (490 years) of Daniel have already been fulfilled...
I would ask you to consider what you already know to be true about what God has told us about Himself in the Bible. God tells us in many places in the Bible that He is faithful. A good example of this is Deut 7:9, “Know therefore that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His lovingkindness to a thousandth generation with those who love Him and keep His commandments..." More than that God demonstrates throughout the Bible that He is indeed faithful. A good example of this is, Josh 21:43-45, "So the LORD gave Israel all the land which He had sworn to give to their fathers, and they possessed it and lived in it. And the LORD gave them rest on every side, according to all that He had sworn to their fathers, and no one of all their enemies stood before them; the LORD gave all their enemies into their hand. Not one of the good promises which the LORD had made to the house of Israel failed; all came to pass." So I think that we can both agree that the Lord ALWAYS keeps His promises and ALWAYS accomplishes whatever His will desires.
God also tells us that He is truthful. Psalm 119:160 says, "The sum of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous ordinances is everlasting." Another good example is Isa 65:16, “Because he who is blessed in the earth Will be blessed by the God of truth; And he who swears in the earth Will swear by the God of truth; Because the former troubles are forgotten, And because they are hidden from My sight!" we
prophesiedcertain amountand nightsreceiveSabbathsgive. You have probably thought of some yourself...
Now in all these examples I have given (and actually in all the examples in the Bible), can you think of ONE SINGLE TIME where the event didn't happen EXACTLY as God had foretold? Was there a gap in the 40 days of rain for Noah? Did it actually rain for 60 or 70 days instead? We know that is not true because the Bible actually tells us, "The rain fell upon the earth for forty days and forty nights." (Genesis 7:12)
What about Moses and wandering in the wilderness? Was there a previously unknown and undisclosed gap in the time of the wanderings? Did the Hebrews wander in the wilderness for 50, 60, or even 75 years? No, we have confirmation from the Bible telling us that they wandered for 40 years...
undisclosedyoungfaithful. So we read in Daniel 9:1-4, "In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of Median descent, who was made king over the kingdom of the Chaldeans- in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, observed in the books the number of the years which was revealed as the word of the LORD to Jeremiah the prophet for the completion of the desolations of Jerusalem, namely, seventy years. So I gave my attention to the Lord God to seek Him by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth and ashes. I prayed to the LORD my God and confessed and said, “Alas, O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and lovingkindness for those who love Him and keep His commandments..." So while Daniel was praying, fasting, and confessing the sins of his people (vs 5-19), the Angel Gabriel appears to Daniel and speaks to him saying, "No there"Those who had escaped from the sword he carried away to Babylon; and they were servants to him and to his sons until the rule of the kingdom of Persia, to fulfill the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed its sabbaths. All the days of its desolation it kept sabbath until seventy years were complete. Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia-in order to fulfill the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah-the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he sent a proclamation throughout his kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying, “Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, ‘The LORD, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and He has appointed me to build Him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Whoever there is among you of all His people, may the LORD his God be with him, and let him go up!" (2 Chron 36:20-23)

It is so hard to believe that any student of the Scriptures could still perpetrate this weird view of Daniel’s great prophesy. Darby / Schofield dispensationalism has destroyed the authority and effectiveness of the Gospel in the 20th century. To say that the church is not mentioned in the Old Testament, and to think that there is some kind of gap in the 70 weeks is just a ridiculous ignorance of the whole purpose of God.

@@EDSONHLYCHHO22 Why do you ask? Speculation has no place in biblical hermenuetics. Dispensationalism which is being expounded in this video is the invention of John Darby and perpetuated by C I Schofield in the early 20th Century. It is not a classical orthodox view of Scripture and is based on a peculiar method of extreme literal-ism which ignores New testament supremacy over Old Testament, and does not allow Scripture to interpret Scripture. I suggest you study a bit, and if you have any specific questions about particular texts, feel free to ask. Blessings.
