- A short film of the 2023 Pete Bland Kentmere Horseshoe Fell Race that took place yesterday Sunday 16th July.
An awesome race. Fast with a bit of everything. As you'll see the weather was typically Lakeland which added extra spice to the race.
I came in at 2:28hrs which I'm happy about. I'll be looking to improve that for next year.
Next big race is the Borrowdale Fell Race August 5th 2023.

Hi John, thank you for filming it during the race. It was my club's (Preston Harriers) fell championship fell race but I couldn't do it this year because I had to take my daughter racing somewhere else instead. It was nice to see you film it. I've heard there were a few slips, falls and hurt ankles.
Hi Olga thanks for that :) yup a few slipped in the wet conditions, also it was a busy route quite a big turn out.

brilliant! looked like a fab race although tough. Slippy slippyson with a cheeky slippy thrown in. 😂 can't wait for the next one. (although I love the races, we do miss the waffle-fest when you're racing).

Epic! 🤙 when I get back to the UK I plan on heading back north to my roots, Brecon is on the doorstep for now but it’s not the same as the dales/lakes
