A woman can never make the wrong choices & even if it feels she has made one, don't hold her accountable but accept it as a "human flaw". I am a girl and havent seen this movie but we can see clearly two men fighting for a girl who cheated them. This is good and accepted? I remember Ranvijays character from Animal was bashed for cheating. Cheating is wrong for both men and women
I am a woman too and I find galling that feminists justify cheating by women as "her choice", "her sexualit", "her agency" etc while dissing male promiscuity as toxic. This kind of double standards is leading women to make irresponsible choices & earn a bad reputation.
I'm a man and the amount of hatred this movie is getting is equivalent to the the praise she got in animal for "being a second women" or bhabhi two". Hypocrisy is what the audience is showing, they won't ever blame a man but always point a women. Both are wrong then bash both the genders why one is being prised and another is being shamed? Promiscuity, extra marital affairs are being glorified in Bollywood and it is even more galling to find people normalizing it.
