- Everyone knows about Mount Fuji & for good reason! This active volcano is HUGE! We get as close to the mountain as we ever have and stop at a couple different viewpoints to soak it in. After that, we continue to enjoy the weekend (& more views of Fujisan) by exploring Hakone. Hakone is a mountainous town known for its hot springs resorts as well as popular Lake Ashi. This was a great weekend spent with family before they headed off back to the States!

Lots of love,
Tanner, Risa, Willa + Noa! :)
That Chinese restaurant even looked bad from the outside...🤣🤣 But that bus into the water, amazing... 👍 And the fish breathing at the shore, were those catfish?🤔
Haha the reviews were so promising though online… oops! 🤣 They were carp but they were fun to see!
AND another great video. Thank you for always sharing . Learning a lot about Japan. Stay safe all of you !!!!!!
What an adventure to finish off your family's visit! Beautiful views everywhere you looked. I think that may have been the first bad food review from y'all.... It must have really been off! So glad to see all the time and places you got to see with your visiting family. Thanks for sharing! I look forward to starting my Sunday mornings with your videos ❤
Yes it really was one of the worst meals we have had! It was a bummer honestly, but the views definitely made up for it!! 😊😍
2:06 How cute is that 😍
Oh wow! Japan has such wonderful, impressing landscapes! Since I was a kid, I was fascinated by everything Japanese, and at the same time I doubt I could integrate in the Japanese society because I am such an emotional and direct person...
Well, it doesn't matter because I never had the chance to get there and meanwhile I am unable to do journeys due to some health issues. But I really enjoy your videos and all the things you discover!
Hope your family's flight home was fine!
those swans look enormous .😮
I wish you all luck of the world when your holiday is over and you have to dive into daily routines of a normal family life in Japan. 😊😊
Thank you! 😊 We have been at it for a bit and it’s been great so far!
Hey beautiful family, how lucky are you to have such a clear view of Mt Fuji and that stunning sunset. I went on one of those pirate looking ships on Lake Ashinoko and visited the volcanic valley with active sulphur vents.
Loved the picturesque views from your drone, really shows a different perspective. Thanks for sharing your experiences. Hope your family had a safe journey home, you will miss them. My daughter lives in Cologne Germany with her family, so I know how special it is to have these precious moments with family. Love your videos past and present. ❤
Aww thank you for your kind comment! Having family come visit is truly so meaningful! Your adventure on and near Lake Ashinoko sounds awesome! We will have to look into that are! 💗
06:09 A lot of time they "do not accept kids" for health reasons or because it's simply a quiet space, which makes sense! It's loud in the rest of the pool anyway.
Thank you for the fantastic video. Did you have a chance to experience the spring water and observe the carp at Fuji Sengen Shrine?
Living in Japan comes with language barriers, and the culture differs greatly from English-speaking countries.
Japanese has been recognized by the U.S. Department of State as one of the most challenging languages to learn. Therefore, I encourage Japanese individuals not to rush and to enjoy life at their own pace.
We didn’t actually, but we already have plans to go back! Thanks for sharing the interesting info!
nice
Thanks for watching!
....what a wonderful video..., also, you mentioned twice that your in-laws are leaving tomorrow, is your sister/sister n' law staying-on, was hoping to see more of her interacting with the entire family, but have seen very little....
💕 love your video stories....
That would have been so much fun!! We would have loved to have her stay longer, but she has to go back to school and parents have to get back to work. Thanks for watching! 🫶
I imagined Japan to be prettier tbh. It's not very green, was is that long ago? Here in Austria, everything has been green and lush since mid April..
This was filmed quite awhile back, so things are definitely more green now!
I wish you guys weren’t so loud. I don’t get why everyone should be aware of Americans being in town
We definitely don’t mean to be loud if we come across that way.
