Just a FYI on the description of Khvostov, it does say it gives bonus damage on bounces, Bungie has stated that the description is incorrect and doesn’t provide bonus damage :)
@codyschlenker6821 hell no and it not having anti barrier is wild. Once it gets that, it might be worth. It deals decent enough damage, but it's not better than an lmg with good perks for ad clear, not better for boss dps than any other options, shields aren't a big deal with end Gane being gone. I just can't find a decent use for it
Man I actually loving the exotic sidearm that came with lightfall with the exotic quest it shoots like a burst weapon if you charge it up and it does so much damage
Exotic kvostov is a mainstay on my character since I got it and I can’t see myself vaulting it any time soon. Feels like a real gun with a fantasy twist and it’s sooo satisfying to use

The call with slice and titan rocket chest is awesome with thrust class ability. Dodge which launches rockets, slice makes enemies do less damage, rocket side arm hits are buffed, and dragons breath will deal the DoT on top of everything else at once
I like having one fully auto that’s long raged-and one slightly auto that is not ranged and I’m a warlock what do you think would be best with my play style

One thing I’ve been wondering is why run some of these legendaries for pve when there’s so many exotics that do it better? Like for example people been saying the call is nice but one shot from a sun shot will set off a train reaction that just nukes add groups
Rocket sidearms do far higher damage than sunshot, and don’t use an exotic slot. They can’t add clear as well but unlike sunshot they scale up into harder content
Taking The Call + Sunshot is actually a really good combo. Sunshot is amazing at clearing groups but kind of struggles against singular chunky targets. As soon as you see a big target, slap them with The Call or the new Aberrant Action coming out and then go back to blasting with sunshot.

so are guns like my old breachlight and kindled orchid and recluse etc still viable in the current sandbox? i played from launch til sunsetting then stopped, and now im just coming back and I'm completely lost and overwhelmed
Oh my god they brought back Claws of the Wolf, my favorite… the one gun I held onto forever after sunsetting and then finally let it go a few months ago before they told us they were reverting it… I gotta try to get a new one. Thanks for the heads up
My new Main Weapon in PVP is the new Timeworn Wayfarer Scout. It workes perfect for the playstyle I like to play. Im (since D1) a proud fan of Gunslinger Knife Hunter. And with the perkes on the Scout ( Healclip and Desperate Measures) it works. I run radiant dodge, heal grenade with the Fragment of Benevolence to make sure I allways have Ability to buff or heal. Healing with my healing Grenade, make others Radiant with my dodge, hitting enemys with my knive, reviving or reloading after a kill. It all makes sure my Abilitys comes back. Plus a Headshot from the scout plus Headshot with Light Knive will kill. And with Desperate Measure you can now Two Tap woth the scout As exo I run Assassins Cowl. To make sure that after the knive I heal to make use of the two tap Scout in the next fight or stay invisabil to reload and heal in peace. The Handcanon Knive Combo was one of my favorites in Destiny 1 and now I have a super Synergie version. This setup is just like I allways loved to play No spray and pray, no thousands of bullets. Just hit two perfect shots and the guy is down. It rewards you for percision not dumping youre entire mag in someone.
The Riposte is actually one of my top sleeper picks for pvp like ever. It feels so ridiculously good, I got a TTT/KC roll today and it just feels so clean if you have good tracking
Clearly I'm not the target audience of Destiny. The story was kinda "meh". Saying it's better than that turd year ago is as low of a yardstick as you can have. Nothing spectacular, only thing that made it stand out was Nathan. But don't mind me, I only played it through because I was stupid and paid the 19.99 eur of it and wanted to see if I could end the game on a high-note (couldn't, in the end Bungie is bungie)

It’s already became one of my favourite weapons in the game along with the euphony.
It's not worthy of both a heavy and exotic slot. It doesn't put out nearly enough damage to justify those two slots. I'd rather just use a special.

Its trash. It takes up heavy exotic slot just to do ok sustained damage when you can do better with a legendary grenade/rocket launcher.

The Call is the 1st gun in a long time to have made pve fun for me and thats a big deal. Makes grinding nightfalls enjoyable. 10/10.

feels like there's more new weapons than reprisals especially if you include the echoes weapons, and including that would add extra reprisals

They made sure the new weapons were outright better than the old ones, and the old ones are things we've all wanted back at some point.

Absolutely, now that they are not sunset anymore you can use them anywhere and you may have perk combos that aren’t available anywhere else!

I watched madame Web and it had a better story than destiny 2. The witch queen was the peak of story telling and this is not even a pimple.
