I did explain why, in both cases. Yavin 4 is too expensive as a playset but the minifigs are worth a lot, so for investment purposes or bricklink selling, it is excellent. Yoda's Jedi starfighter is expensive, the minifigs are not worth that much AND a previous edition was released just a few years ago. Saying that, it's obviously fine to disagree. I try to evaluate sets on a scale as objectively as possible but there are different opinions out there. :)
@@vladybrickkid875 I know you explained in your video as I watched the entire video. There is something underwhelming about the Yavin 4 base. I heard a bunch of other people have similar feelings towards the set so it's not just me. Maybe if you had a category for "popularity" instead of "coolness" or added another category. I don't know it's your channel and your video, you do what you think is best. Just trying to offer some type of suggestion or constructive criticism. At retail, I feel both sets are overpriced. However, at a 20% discount I think Yoda's is a good buy - but 20% is still overpriced for Yavin 4 and still not interested in buying it.
As a playset Yavin 4 is indeed overpriced. But not for an investor that wants to sell the set after retirement. And yes, the Yoda starfighter will be a better buy for a child, to play with, and won't break the bank (although expensive as well for what its contents) I appreciate the comments, by the way. I have been looking at the evaluation categories for some time now and i feel the RE-RELEASE, UNIQUNESS and COOLNESS are not as well defined as I would like. APPEAL is simple, because it's display value.
You are correct. I have not rated any Brickheadz, as they are not under STAR WARS number series. However, i can say that i believe ALL EXCLUSIVE Star Wars Brickheadz are well worth investing in. I have 3 40676 The Phantom Menace boxes bought at 30% off waiting. :)
I bought the cantina, ghost &phantom, sail barge, Yavin base, r2d2 and c3po, to name a few to keep in storage for a couple of years. . .I already have my display/built sets to keep for myself tho but hopefully I can get some $ back later from the unopened sets :)
Ghost is literally the best ship set to invest in, i even did a video on it. It's insanely good. Only the HERA minifig was like 30 euro. But they removed it from retirement from this year.
I'm from Eastern Europe as well and yes, you can't expect to sell a lot, but things do sell. Try 2nd hand websites (like Vinted) and Facebook Marketplace. Also join LEGO selling groups and post there your inventory like once a month. The best solution is to get a website but of course it's not worth it until you sell like 1000 euro worth a month, which is far away from me right now. If you are chasing a 20% margin per year (like I do) if you sell sets in a maximum of 12-24 months after you got them, you're good, as long as you're leveraging at least 20-30% off on purchase.
Just secured myself the cantina on ebay for £330 brand new! So happy to finally have this set before it retires
Great job mate 🎉
Thanks 😁
Yavin 4 Base rated Excellent and Yoda's Jedi Starfighter rated Bad. I respectfully disagree on both.

*You are also missing the Phantom Menace Brickheadz*

Hi! Can you advise where to sell new/sealed Lego sets? Because I'm from Eastern Europe and I don't have many opportunities.

@@vladybrickkid875 I don't know if you have WhatNot but its a good option for selling lego.
Doesn't work in my country, sadly. :)
