some beauticians can damage your hair too, there are some box dyes are safe and don't have harsh chemicals so it really depends
she could fro her hair out and put on a headband when she goes outside. she looks like she has a head full of gorgeous hair except she ripped out her hairline/edges. she could possibly grow it back if she massaged it and put castor oil on it or something.

I feel bad and don't feel bad for her at the same time. It's terrible that she has permanently lost a lot of her hair, but she should not have just combed out her hair with the glue still on. She should have been patient and let the solution unstick to the hair.

As someone with health issues that has made over half of my hair fall out and then using extensions to fix it also causing severe pulling and bald spots. Seeing this really makes me want to stay inside. I seriously want to scream. Just keep the wig on!!! You look beautiful!!! It's REALLY not that bad!!!! Trust me!!!!!

You're awesome! I live near a lady who is a cancer survivor and she doesn't wear a wig and, I swear, she has the most beautiful face and glow because she stared death in the face and won. She realizes what's most important -- life...not beauty. This girl is so beautiful. That wig isn't necessary.

I know how she feels, I traumatic brain injury and they had to cut the front of my hair to do a cratiotomy, the TUMOR was near my memory part of my brain it was the size of a lrg apple.
They took it out, now I have clips,and screws holding down my scalp, so it can heal, the front where they cut ,some spots hair don't grow

I give this young lady a lot of props for the courage she displayed just coming on Tyra's show. She's going to help a lot of young women such as herself.
As a woman, I seriously almost cried hearing her story. We put so much into our hair. I know I feel self conscious all day if my hair doesn't turn out right, and hate leaving the house like that. I can understand how it can make her feel ugly. Hope the hair lady did a great job.

I have to say I'm struggling to have sympathy for this woman. She kept messing with her hair more and more and more even when it was getting messed up. I understand what it is like to have aloecia areata and would love to have my hair back, but come on... stop messing with the hair, otherwise by the time you are 40, you will look 85! She should have seen the warning signs... silly woman. Still, I hope she gets it sorted out and doesn't mess with it again!

Erin -is- extremely beautiful. A doll-like face with big doe eyes, plump lips and a button nose. The wig doesn't make her look good, she makes the WIG look good, okay? Like seriously. It's a tremendous gift from Tyra to reconstruct her hairline, but that girl could easily get away with wigs or even baldness with that angelic face.
Aw this was so sweet that she got to have her hair fixed. It seems like a superficial thing but it things like that that can really improve a woman's self confidence.

I honestly don't see the beauty in changing ur body without working hard on it.... the hair thing i can relate tho.... my grandma wanted me to have long pretty hair like she did when she was younger but I'm half black so mah hair was a mess, she was the one who introduced me to relaxers and hair treatments. A year ago I went to the hair salon and the lady put the hardest solution they had bcuz she didn't realize my hair was thin and fragile, as a result I had my hair cut off almost completely and had bald spots. Thankfully my hair is growing back healthy and shiny *-* so I guess I'm not that sad but still, I miss my old hair. Anyway, don't get plastic surgery, it can go wrong lol
For the last woman on the show, it would have been a real blessing if Tyra gave her a permanent solution: hair transplant or surgical hairline lowering (Like Blac Chyna)

I worked with a lot of people that get too tight of cornrows- and it causes the hairlines to recede and thin. That is exactly what hers looks like. It isn't that uncommon and I really want to tell her somehow that a LOT of people have it :)
Out of all the woman that were on this episode this was the least tragic so she's lucky. If she would stop wearing the wigs she could get sew ins and start taking care of her hair so that she could grow what she has longer. Her hair is thick so she could wear her hair down with bangs, swoops etc and you wouldn't even be able to tell. But I can't really feel bad for her, yeah she's sad but it wasn't a deformity, or anything that was wrong with her that made her do. She did it because she wanted to have hair like Beyonce so she is lucky that she didn't end up doing something more risky.

I cant believe as a black woman she tried to de her hair blonde and thought her hair wouldnt fall out. Not to mention all her other mishaps afterwards. And I thought I wasnt good at taking care of my hair. it doesnt matter how healthy your hair is if you want to de your hair lighter you need to go to a good salon that knows how to treat our (black people) hair.
