    Excellent review and informative! Big question; is a direct comparison with reolink go pt coming soon? The video clips you posted appear to indicate a faster pir already? Which camera would you spend your money to purchase now? Thanks again for your efforts to enlighten us!!

      I appreciate you watching! Great questions. I hope to do more direct comparison videos in the future (but can’t promise when 😜). I’m my opinion it seemed like this cam had a better sensor speed and distance. I also like it’s price tag. With that said, the Reolink probably has better quality footage and the Reolink definitely offers more setting options (in the app). The Vyze app is pretty basic, although adequate 👍

      @@HuntingFarmerOfficial I had a bear rip down one of my go pt cameras. I retrieved it, and I was amazed at the video length and quality on the sd card! I had never pulled a card from the reolinks; assumed the videos were just as they appeared when received over air? Boy, I was definitely wrong and pleasantly surprised! Rookie mistake.

    Another great review. How was the range on the camera? I see on the app it looked like just a camera symbol, does that mean you can just take pictures with it as well as video? I am just thinking pictures would save a lot of data if you had it in a busy spot. Just being able to Pan, Tilt, and zoom is very handy. I did see that the monthly subscription was a little high though, especially on the Verizon site and more than likely I would have to use that one here in North Eastern Maine. Thanks again!

    • @HuntingFarmerOfficial
      @HuntingFarmerOfficial  Год назад +1

      This cameras can only take pictures if you manually take pictures via the app. Otherwise the camera ONLY takes videos when it sees activity. The cameras aren’t all that hard on data 👍

    I am using a 59GB memory micro card and I have used up 5,7GB so far. I wanted to down-load the photos and videos sent to my phone when I open the app but, I find no way of downloading the current videos/photos that I can see on my phone to my phone. I cannot believe that when I watch a video or look at a photo on my phone app, that I cannot save to my phone let-a-lone share a photo or video in phone messaging like I can with my RIOLINK PRO. I thought if I tap on the photo, it would give me an option of what to do with it, but, nothing happens. Will I have to wait until I bring down the camera from my other property and bring it home to take the micro CARD out to record the card on my laptop card reader?? THIS is the ONLY negative I have for this camera. Thanks for reading this.

    GREAT Review as always.. I can feel the temptation to go to Amazon overwhelming me at this moment.. lol.. but I definitely see one of these in my future.. quick question.. assuming proper sunlight, do you think the solar panel would keep it charged if it was just a few videos every 24hrs? How long would you say the internal battery would last if the solar panel wasn't getting enough light? Like a pack of lithium batteries or much shorter? Thanks in advance!

    • @HuntingFarmerOfficial

      Thanks for watching! I truly appreciate it. This is the worst time of year for solar (poor sun angles/shorter days). The camera lasted approximately 3 weeks but was taking many night videos (probably 200 or so in those 3 weeks). I believe this panel could keep after in the summertime (but that’s just my opinion/haven’t tested it yet).

    This was a great review and led to me purchasing two of these cameras. I would love to see your opinion on them after a year of using them though. After a few months they don’t work anymore. While they were working, it was very hard to get them to connect and be able to make adjustments on the app then the live stream wouldn’t load most of the time. I would be interested in hearing if anyone else has had the same issues.

    • @HuntingFarmerOfficial

      Thanks for watching! That’s a good point! Yes, I believe the panel could catch back up if you disabled the PIR sensor (so it won’t record) for a period of time. That could also be done remotely via the app vs turning the camera completely off.

      Thanks for watching Pat. Pros and cons with both. The Vyze has better audio and seems to have a better trigger speed and distance. The Campark has a better app (with more setup options) and it’s solar panel seems to do better vs the Vyze.

    Great content my man. I would like your opinion on comparing these with other 4g PTZ cell cameras. Having done 3 or 4 reviews with real life situations I’d be very interested.
    I have a reolink running on some hunting property and love it. I only have 3 gripes, first the super wide angle zoom out. Say what you will but the digital zoom sucks on these I have found. Second the pitiful trigger distance. These really ought to have 90-100 ft trigger sensors. They are ‘securely’ cameras after all. And third is the rather slow trigger speed.
    Again would love to hear your comparison on all the ones you have done before.

    • @HuntingFarmerOfficial
      @HuntingFarmerOfficial  Год назад +2

      Thanks for watching. All good questions. I really enjoy my Reolink’s but the particular model in this review probably has a better trigger speed and detection range (I have yet to test it side by side but stay tuned 😁). With that said, all seem to have the wide angle lens and all stink at zoom (like you mentioned). The app is also better with Reolink and gives you far more setting options, especially compared to the Vyze camera. Those are some of my thoughts…

    • @HuntingFarmerOfficial
      @HuntingFarmerOfficial  Год назад

      I appreciate you watching! Great questions. I have better Att signal in my property vs Verizon. The manufacturer eluded to the fact that the camera may perform better or prefer the Verizon sim (I personally didn’t notice any difference). The battery lasted approximately 3 weeks before dying. I was getting predominately night videos and it’s the worst time of year for capturing sunlight.

      Thanks for watching. Standard cellular cameras don’t excel in video mode (most stop you at 10 seconds) and videos cost you more. The pan/tilt type cameras usually offers better data rates (and you can usually shop around for better deals), standard cell cams lock you into there plans

      Thanks for watching. Yes, most (if not all) pan tilt cameras allow you to view back all the videos on the sd card via the app (without actually pulling the sd card). If you’re willing to wait a few days, I’m currently producing a video where I directly compare 4 different pan and tilt cameras from the exact same location at the exact same time. How many degree will it pan and tilt. If they have a decent degree of pan and tilt, then they are for sure a good buy. Definitely, the solar panel needs it's own base. I'm a little hesitant to buy if the solar panel can't keep it charged. But, the price is such that if you have to do a few modifications, that'd be ok. I'm impressed with these for the price. About $100 cheaper per camera than the one i have now. Great review again Dave.

    • @HuntingFarmerOfficial
      @HuntingFarmerOfficial  Год назад +1

      I too like the price tag (compared to many others). The cam can pan 360° The app is definitely lacking some setup options that the more expensive cams offer, but it’s still adequate (and could be considered simpler by some because there are so many setup options) 👍

    Hey hunting farmer, I just subscribed, thx for all your videos, much appreciated, ok, here’s my ?’s 1, can you do a comparison with the reolink ranger pt vs the ebitcam vs the vyze vs the campark with the range, trigger speed etc, etc. 2. Can you do a comparison with these 4 cameras app vs app on your personal opinion which one is easiest to use and idiot proof, I’m 60, I’m retired military, worked on 30 million dollar tanks and 35 million dollar jets but I can’t run a computer to save my life so I really would like your opinion on the easiest app to use, 3 could you do a range test on all these to see which one reaches the farthest with the clearest videos, thx in advance, if you can’t, I understand you run a farm and I grew up on one so I know your time is valuable, I’m very curious to see which one wins, I got a friend of mine who has the ranger pt and another friend who has the ebitcam and when they compared the two, I’m leaning towards the ebitcam because it caught a turkey being chased by a coyote on a dead run and the ranger missed it and they were side by side on a tree next to each other, crap happens, i really like the videos but like I said, I’m not computer savvy and I just want one that’s easy to use, much appreciated if you can do this, I understand if you can’t, anyway, may the good Lord smile upon you and yours, God Bless you and yours and be safe out there!
