It’s great to see a direct comparison between so many cameras at once! Nice to see all your tests and the difference in video quality too! Thanks for sharing
It was great to see the side by side comparison. You would have thought they would be very similar but it is interesting that the triggers were very different. I like the invisible IR feature
Always a quality video review from the Hunting Farmer...Let me tell you, filming and editing a video like this takes a lot of time. A lot of hours went into this one video.
Great comparison. I got the first ranger in the US over a year ago as a trial user. It's been out untouched for about 15 months now. They are talking about some upgrades and another option coming soon.
I enjoy the vid (all yours) without batting an eye. What useful work!!! I hope it brings you benefits. For me Keen is the winner. Vyze was a good option at first, fast detection, good image for the price, but failed the app, and that's the main reason to get one of these, feel confident with the app/connection. Thank you from Spain
your info was bad ass and on on point . Just purchased the camo Vyze-Link 4G LTE Cellular Security Camera, having issues connecting. As soon as connect will feed some feed back .Big hunter as well as keeping on eye on trespassers on my gate . I appreciate your info.
How's she goin'? This is a very professional review Dave. Well done. You certainly had lots of situations where the capabilities of the cameras were well tested. Thanks for doing this. I can imagine it took a lot of time and editing. Take care!!
Dave - thank you for the amazing review. I have been trying review myself but you made it very easy and I really appreciate your hard work. I decide on purchasing two Reolink Keen Ranger. I refer to you as my virtual hunting buddy with my hunting buddies in Texas and Oklahoma.
awesome video i was super pumped about the vyze price tag and then it was the best at catching motion, but that app would drive me nuts and i hate false alarms, its out
Hello Daniel, this is Selina from Vyze-Link Team. Regarding issue with false alarms, you can set PIR sensitivity and motion detection sensitivity into Medium or Low level through the app. And then turn on human-only detection to filter unnecessary movements from animals and vehicles. Dave on my app for the ebitcam it requires a cloud service for $20 a year for the 7 day option plus have to pay for the eiot fees at $15 a month. Is there a way around the $20?
Great video! What about compared to the Witsectech one you reviewed after this? Also do any of the cameras take photos or are they all only video? Lastly on the Ebitcam did you test it with the 20w solar or the 5w solar? Their choices on Amazon are confusing about what each choice offers and then their website is terrible and only shows 1.
Great comparison,Dave. I have tracfone cell service. It uses the Verizon network. Do you know whether these cameras with the EIOTClub sim work with discount cell plans that use major carrier networks?
The camera and your phone can be on two different carriers. The Eiotclub sim will work with the camera and you can keep any carrier you prefer on your cell phone 👍

I still like Reolink cameras (I’d probably get him the Keen Ranger because it’s camo and has no glow IR). I’m not sure how “techy” your father is, but the Reolink’s have an in depth app with a ton of settings and that may be a disadvantage to him?
How do you think these would perform in the middle of a dense canopy forest? I've heard solar panels don't get adequate sun in those situations to keep the camera powered.
No all the cameras in this video allow you to add multiple cameras via the app. You will need individual SIM cards for every camera (which mean separate data plans)
Is there any adjustment of the trigger zone size or shape on any of the cameras? I need to set up a camera about 15 ft from a street, but don't want the normal street traffic to trigger it. Great video content! Well done! Seems that I can't use any of these. I need a Verizon SIM, which is not compatible with Keen. And I need an external antenna in order to get a signal in my very remote area, which rules out the other three. Bummer!
I have purchased the Ebitcam. All is working great except for one thing, the camera is not recording to the SD card. I switched it out with my own, and pictures/videos are still not being recorded to my SD card. Anyone out there having this issue besides me?
You can change that in the settings. Click the gear icon and next click the memory card option (should be near the top of the settings). You can turn off cloud video and turn on SD card recording there 👍
@@outdoorztime2923 that’ll only change which recording you are viewing on the app, you’ll still wanna go through the gear icon to go into the settings and make sure you have sd recording turned on…
Any battery operated device can struggle in the cold. I use my cameras all winter long and they do ok. Our winters aren’t as bad as our further north friends
Great job Dave! That was a very thorough round of testing and comparisons, and I know you put a lot of work into this one! I picked up a Keen Ranger PT in the offseason, and I'll be getting it out there in a week or two. I'm anxious to start using it!
@@danielremel3417 Well, I used it as a traditional trail camera facing it toward a trail and crossing area. However, it has a limited range which I didn't realize until after mounting it. This fall, I plan to use it over a scrape, and I am hoping for better results. The camera works as advertised and I like that part. It just doesn't cover much for distance.
@@HuntingFarmerOfficialI’m planning on picking up a keen and using EIOTCLUB because of your videos as well. Your reviews are so well done. Thank you for the extra effort it takes to do this.
WOW, great video. In my opinion, they were all close except for the Vyze app being too slow. In my opinion, I'd go with the Keen because of the app options. Also like that the Keen antenna can be removed. All in all, the first three edged out the Vyze. Thanks Dave for a great side by side comparison. GREAT VIDEO
Search for American camera companies. Don't buy this camera not an American Company!! It's a company in China! Big problems with operator service, exchanges payments and refunds!! I having a huge issue with a warranty exchange right now with this co. Dont do it to yourselves keep searching or wait for American manufacturers
hello, do you have any idea if it is visible in night mode with the white circle on the edge in any position I put it, I tried it with another phone, the application is updated, it is the second camera I buy and it does the same. ?
Another great and very helpful video. It is really too bad that Vyze's app was so crappy. It was the cheapest but it seemed to have the best sensor and video. Sadly that app makes the data so much higher because of its lousy speed I would have to go with the Keen maybe. I just think the Keen's video was very dark and lacked color. I really appreciate your work in all this. I am subscribing to your channel. Thanks again Maine North Woods Hunter (Shane)
I remember when you would use the PT Go and it was not made as a trail cam. You would paint it and try settings and move the solar and antenna to get your best performance. Haha! I don’t wanna say I was the first to use these cameras as trail cameras….but I was one of the first 😁 The companies definitely are listening to their consumers and giving the features we want (camo, better battery life etc). Thanks for watching 👍
I haven’t watched all through yet (saw the summary). We use the Keen. It’s not perfect, but we are using it differently to when we first got it, with much better results. The wide field of view was the biggest issue. We didn’t like the almost fisheye view we were getting. We now lower the lens to flatten the view. iPhones allow you to crop videos, so we crop to just past the time stamp. Its really improved clips. The narrower lens view we get in other cams could be a future improvement. It does stay in colour much longer than our standard cams, hopefully a lens change doesn’t alter that. The frame rate seems slow, we have cans that are 30 and 60fps, not sure but have read this is 15fps. The last thing that would help is night illumination, it needs more light. With the fish eye effect, sometimes night view is difficult. They are all different to standard cams, some things are worse, but they can move, and get you angles other cams can’t. They are much better at close views, rather than distance (maybe make them PTZ). I think as they evolve and the prices come down, more will own this type of camera.
Thanks for watching and sharing your experiences. The Keen, because of the 940 IR, will have limited night illumination vs cameras that have 850nm infared (even compared to the Reolink GO PT’s)
Bought the Keen Ranger PT....I changed the SD card yesterday and it now says camera disconnected. I didn't turn it off before changing the card. Any ideas how to fix this remotely...?
Unfortunately I’m not sure anything can be done remotely. 🙁 Hopefully in the future you’ll always remember to power the camera off before removing the sd card
@@HuntingFarmerOfficial Well I think it was just a low battery that was causing the issue. It went back live yesterday and let me format the SD card remotely.
So is there a difference in a trail camera vs a security camera in these 4g cameras? I'm needing some to keep an eye on my yard and employees . Great job on the video!
Keen is made by Reolink camera's and they are know for their security cameras. That is one of the reasons it offers many more features then the others. I would think that it should have a brightness feature to brighten the pictures. I have hade the reolinks security cams on my blue irus sever and and they had brightness control.
Thank this was really helpful in making my decision. You explained what it did and how, which not even Campark did. I bought the unit through the link on your post. Just waiting for a shipping/ tracking link.
Thanks for this video, this has been very useful as I need a solution to building site security that doesn’t have any internet at this stage in the project. The fact the keen doesn’t give an IR glow makes it the winner for my requirement.
Will these cameras move the gimbal with detected motion automatically? Preferably with the light on at night. I have trouble with trespassing and want them to know they are actively being watched as they walk.
Great review. Could you use these as dedicated game cams? I like the pan and tilt function and could see where it would be useful in an open area. Now for the 64,000 dollar question: Is there a game camera that is pan and tilt, cellular, but also wifi/bluetooth? This way , if you were out in blind, with cam in bluetooth range, you could download your pics/videos without incurring any cell data being used. You could use the cell notification to let you know something was there, and then use wifi/bluetooth to follow live. I had 3 wifi/bt cams near my blind facing different directions and I could watch live or download from within blind. 1 pan and tilt, cell wifi/bt cam could replace 3
Thanks for watching. I like your idea but unfortunately I’m not aware of any camera like that. All the pan and tilt cameras I’ve seen are either one or the other (WiFi or cellular)
I made a mistake at 6:01 and 34:50 The Vyze camera also has the white LED's and color night video option. Sorry for the mis-information!
Your side by side reviews are always so thorough. Great job, Dave.

So is there a difference in a trail camera vs a security camera in these 4g cameras? I'm needing some to keep an eye on my yard and employees . Great job on the video!
These 4G pan/tilt cameras excel with videos. Most typical cellular trail cameras are more suited for picture mode.
Keen is made by Reolink camera's and they are know for their security cameras. That is one of the reasons it offers many more features then the others. I would think that it should have a brightness feature to brighten the pictures. I have hade the reolinks security cams on my blue irus sever and and they had brightness control.
Thanks for all the work you put into that 💪
I appreciate you watching 👍
Set up cost on service is it one app per camera
Yes, each camera will have its own data plan
Very thorough. Thanks you!!!
I appreciate you watching 👍
VERY INFORMATIVE TRIED to use the link for keen but in Canada. 😢 Appreciate the keen review it might work for me.
Thank this was really helpful in making my decision. You explained what it did and how, which not even Campark did. I bought the unit through the link on your post. Just waiting for a shipping/ tracking link.
Respected,
according to your rich experience which is the best camera for game tracking and surveillance.
Thanks in advance?
How noisy is the camera when you pan the cameras? Does it alert game when you move camera? Can you rate cameras quietest to loudest?
Which is cheapest?
The prices change often. I have links in the description 👍
Great review I had already purchased one of these cameras before I seen your review, but it seems to be very accurate
Between the keen and the ebitcam which one is better water, wind, dust resistant and their solar panel aswell
Do they give a live streaming
Your videos get better and better 👍
Thanks for this video, this has been very useful as I need a solution to building site security that doesn’t have any internet at this stage in the project. The fact the keen doesn’t give an IR glow makes it the winner for my requirement.
Thanks for watching. Hope the camera does all you need 👍
Will these cameras move the gimbal with detected motion automatically? Preferably with the light on at night. I have trouble with trespassing and want them to know they are actively being watched as they walk.
No. They don't move the gimbal with motion detection automatically (at least not at this point in time). I recently purchased the Ebitcam.
REALLY WELL DONE!!! Way to go! I would probably purchase the Keen based on this video.
Thanks for watching. I appreciate the encouragement 👍
Thanks for reply. Maybe one of the manus will read this and produce one, lol.
Keen for me!! Thanks
I appreciate you watching 👍
I have a few questions I want to ask you regarding the type of system I need is there anyway I can do that in email or a phone call please
Thanks for watching. You may email me (my info is in the description and the about page).
