Also I love how you translated the song! Each of the prisoner's lines referencing back to their song titles and lyrics is such a god addition! I recently decided to check out your English covers and I am so happy I did! Not only are these great lyrics, your covers are some of the best instances of localization I've ever seen! When reading the original sings, you're only getting what is essentially a summary of the lyrics. It really feels like these lyrics capture the emotions that were once lost in translation all while being poetically beautiful

It's the reason why books and poems are structured differently than their summaries/you won't get the same feeling hearing someone talk about a book/poem as you would reading it yourself. That's why, while the English subtitles do translate what the lyrics are saying, many aspects of the song get lost in translation because the lyrics stop being lyrics and start being a summary of them. For example, the alliteration in after pain's chorus plays a vital role in not only being catchy, but emphasizing how Mu is feeling, but in the subtitles, you don't really notice it because only the meaning is being translated. By translating that alliteration to "Hit Me", you restore the poetic feel that the original lyrics held that couldn't have been translated via subtitles. (One of my favorite lyrics utilizing this is "in a heartbeat, I cheat who I am". Even just saying it plainly makes you feel the rhythm in that section, which is always a sign of good poetry/lyrics) The use of "Hit Me" also leads to another strength of your lyrics: Although you can translate Japanese to English and vice versa, there are certain elements to each (and every) language that are basically unable to be translated directly, such as idioms and metaphors. I genuinely grew a much greater appreciation for all of the milgram songs after listening to your covers because I feel I have a much greater understanding of their lyrical meaning and structure.
