For something called the Destined one of Protection, he only stops retire. You can still bind, choose for effects, and most importantly, dominate. And that +10k that lasts until the end of the *opponent’s* turn? Yeah have fun with that 27k dominated rear attacking you.
U forgot the extra 5k from the Shiranui crest so its 32k dominated rear guard

Bastion Accord is more protective than Destined One of Protection

Okay, I’m gonna be an Alden nerd here. I feel the deck is pretty solid. Not Keter pile Rezael, but solid.
The deck has good defense, and some pretty solid offensive as well. Run Ermac, and you can have a potential 55k beater on persona turn.
It does suck that Bushi didn’t give him full on resist, but there is a G2 unit that can give resist to the board, excluding himself. But the main issue there is that he needs to be in the front row, and if you’re going for a final turn, you preferably use the Order and have Razionels on board, then call two Ermacs via Alden’s skill, and the extra skill provided by the Order. Or, if you can’t make that final push, having Gelment on board for the 25k intercept would be much more valuable rather than the resist.
I love Alden, and I feel he’d be much better with resist rather than “no retiring”, but the deck has some sauce, you just gotta find it.
the best defense is a good offense, lol. Seems like its teithfallt doggo package again, and returning teithfallt to hand just to abuse it next turn is a good filters. and Yes, am using those piles

I mean the protection part of the name plays out in him giving anti retire to all of the units he calls, and he also protects units from going to the drop due to something calling over them by his abilities, a more shield focus defensive deck would’ve been cool, but i think this fits the name well to
Protect what? U can still c ur friends got kidnapped and opponent still able to forces ur friend to attack u😔
@@bunnypepperonii251TBF protecting your friends doesn’t necessarily stop them from turning against you. Like you build a shield to protect them only to realize the enemy was inside the entire time.

I thought he going to be the first resist force deck in standard but sadly only anti-retire.
I mean some of the other fated or destined ones don’t make any sense. Like Blangdmire and how it’s the fated on of zero yet doesn’t set anything to 0 like drajeweled, or Aelquilibra that is the destined on of scales for balance yet doesn’t set anything to be equal. And there’s Levidras which only really fits for the guy’s wish and how he wants to go to Cray with his knowledge, but with how it’s worded you’d expect infinite power. I guess these titles don’t mean what they do, but rather what the character is like/ is/ wants to be.
Zero as in putting your skills to nothing. So that makes sense. Aleq ye doesn’t make sense but levidras seems to mean that his eyes observe everything and he controls everything thanks to his markers

It feels nerfed out of the gate. Because u can only have up to 2-3 units with retire resist max when using divine skill. Only 1 without it (the order calls but gives no resist) which would be fine if it was a flat out resist. And if they made the non dskill call 2 that would be more cost effective since they don’t gain power anyway. They couldn’t decide how to balance it so they nerfed it both ways 😢
The card called by Alden’s skill gets 10k power, and when placed over Razionel (one his new G3 rearguards), that’s another 10k. Hypothetically, if you call Ermac via Alden’s skill, that’s plus 35k to one unit, and on persona ride turn, that’s a 55k beater. Top it off, you can stand the other column with Razionel as well. Not going to get as much value out of it, unless there’s Triggers, but either way, the deck can go kinda nuts. Hand size is also pretty impressive with the extra draws. Although, I will agree that the deck should’ve had full resist, rather than flat retire protection.

It's because he is just now starting out his journey to be the best shield hero ever.
Though i don't like that for him to do 5 attacks he needs an order card. Sure he can do 4 attacks by himself but will it be so difficult for him to 5 by himself. He seems lacking. More likely than not keter's generic pool will once again have to bail another vanguard sanctuary boss unit out.
Actually, the new G3 rearguard stands a rearguard when called over, so there’s more than one way to get five attacks.
the old g0 pr cards still works with Alden, so no idea why make the order that does the same thing
@@rolandsantos1816 The order card is actually better in Destined Alden’s deck, personally. It allows for more Ermac shenanigans
@@aceentertainment8082 true and well with the order you do get to abuse also biscotti or spiral cutie skills. On retrospect, I might be able to fit both in anyways so no issue. 5 full boosted attacks is doable (at like cb3)
Then he shouldn’t be a destined one if he’s this bad at being a shield knight
