I make my own cleaning/disinfecting solution:
Spray bottle 1/2 full of water, 1/2 full of white vinegar, a few drops of blue original Dawn dishwashing liquid and 40 drops of lemon essential oil. Works like a charm. Even spray on shower doors and rinse. No scrubbing! 🌞

I am not doing manicures or pedicures either. After quarantine lifted and our nail salons opened, the prices increased by $30! I used to pay $50 for both, and now it is $80. So I stopped. Especially since we have a goal to pay off our house in 3 years, I had to ask myself if mani/pedis were really necessary. Thanks for sharing these tips!

No shaving cream for me! I’ve used body wash or conditioner my whole life. I also make my own exfoliating cream to use before shaving of coconut oil and sugar. I also don’t buy disposable razors. I bought a nice stainless handle and buy the razors that go in it. I can change the razor more often for a better shave and I’m still using the box of razors that were under $10 two years later. I recommend the leaf brand handle for women as the head moves and goes over our curves better than a standard safety razor. This has saved my extremely sensitive skin!

Tip to getting a good deal on meat every year in March order your side of meat before warmer weather jacks up the pricing, every year we stock up our deep freeze we 3 sides of beef for steak and 50 pounds of lean ground beef, and always buy the reduced meat like roasts and chicken.....meat can be affordable if shopping the sales.

I LOVE how my house looks for Christmas, but hate to put it all away so a couple years ago I decided to use very minimal items (tiny tree, pillows and Christmas throws, Nativity and some holiday kitchen towels. The rest of the house gets a natural facelift with fresh greenery, pointsettias a Christmas cactus and an amarylis. The greens and pointsettias get tossed after the holiday and the amarylis goes after it finishes blooming. My Christmas cactus, though, carries on through the year. Keeps things simple, quick and not too pricy. My pet peeve is fountain drinks or bar drinks. I don't pay for them. If I want to have a cocktail or beer, I have it at home. If I am running around, I keep a bottle of water. Just frosts me to pay as much for one drink as I could pay for a big bottle.

Aside from the obvious life altering financial destruction to small businesses, them get shut down saved me SOOOO much money this year. I am not one for take out. I went to restaurants for the experience, and only now realize what a waste of money it was and how much it added up. I’d rather cook yummy food at home and pocket my savings!

vegan for health reasons is not vegan, it is plant based. veganism is an animal rights movement!! if you're "vegan for your health" you're just plant based - as that's the food side of it btw :) great tips
