Harley Quinn in this movie represented the audience. She was the ultimate joker fan who wanted to see Arthur become the joker like we all did. And for the one scene where he embraces being the joker it's the best scene in the movie. So why did the director turn away from it? Because he wanted to send the message that you're all sickos like Harley and you should just walk out. It's a spiteful middle finger to everyone who liked the character. He made a sequel just to spit on the character, deny the fans what they wanted, and then kill him. This is why anyone who actually understood what the director was doing will hate the movie.
@@StevenE-l9y this is correct. We had this explained in panels at the festival, but not like you’re explaining. We got an explanation, that this is not the “real” Joker, but the man who makes the “real” Joker in the future for Batman. I think people are disappointed becouse you want them to become the joker. But honestly, its like big boss from mgsv that shows he is venom snake. A torture person that you know is acting like big boss. Joker is Arthur, and is actually someone that was killed that would become the joker. Because thry found it fun. Athur is just a person that audiences dont care for and only cares for Joker. The prince of crime. My guess is, that it be considered a bad film years time, or.... that the sequal will find itself differently. Everyone accepted the first one. And rejects the secound. Really think about it, you as an audiance want the bigger pie, and when it drops and Arthur survival is 0, people back out. Its like someone from palistine or a poor place that hasnt got much but trys their best, but falls, you expect from a society to reach too the goul. Im afraid in reality its not the case. I could die tomorrow, but people wouldn't care. A celebrity will pass way. But people only remember the actor that played in the films. Know knowing the person. Lile Robin Williams, same thing We like the actor, not the person themselfs, puts our food off. Is it us or is it them? We want batman and joker, and honestly, do we really care about real people that are part of its labour if they dont give you want you want?

Not sure how Lady Gaga doing musical numbers was because of DEI. Introducing Harley Quinn wasn't the problem with this movie. With a better script it could have worked very well. The issue is the movie hates the joker character and simply wanted to spit on him to antagonize fans of the first film.

Lee walked out because she didn’t think “Joker” was as strong as she needed him to be. So walks away to find a man who can keep up with her craziness level & she survives. But do agree that the director gave all the fan the middle finger, by taking a good Joker & killing him off.
I have seen the first movie at least 20 times, and i belive its awsome. In this second part, i would lie like Gaga if I ever watch it 20 times. Sooo I didn't really like how it ended and only left me with many questions
It was a stupid ending
Him getting killed is ok for me and kinda poetic... But he rejecting the joker persona? that shit is character assesination! Fuck todd Philips man! What a cucked Ending.
hollywood is flossing their ass with beloved ips
Shirli-myrli (1995) / Bon Jovi - Livin' On A Prayer (1986)
This will win Oscars
The random cigarette ranking made me laugh, nicely done! I really want to see this but I usually find musicals to be cringey.
It’s gonnna floppppppppp 😂
🐠
omg it’s Bruce Wayne
Well there going to get my money 💰😉 that didn't help the Flash or Aquaman 2 to get my money they still both flobbed but you know still 😂
Keep crying about ittttttttttt 😂🤣🤣
A waning singer suddenly pops up in a movie for no reason, because money is drying up in the music industry and so Lady Gaga fancies herself an actor. So suddenly it has to be a musical. Next...
Imagine in all those batman characters never existed and it was a real asylum and all those characters were made up in every prisoners mind and Bruce Wayne is just the main boss lol
Lile Robin Williams, same thing
We like the actor, not the person themselfs, puts our food off.
Is it us or is it them?
We want batman and joker, and honestly, do we really care about real people that are part of its labour if they dont give you want you want?
*I REFUSE to pay to get kicked in the nutzz for two hours for loving the first movie,* which the sequel clearly views as a Crime, and sees fit to PUNISH all those who did. On the flipside, if you hated the first movie, you'd probably enjoy the sequel because of how badly it TRASHES the first film.
Gaga..."I'm on the gallows now". 😂
Don't want movies of Batman's enemies why
Demi moore nailed it in substance this was garbage on harleys character
The original joker movie sure does get a lot of love for a movie NOBODY has actually re watched. Because it wasn't that good and was a bore fest. Let's be honest here. This sequel looks so bad.
I don't rewatch it because it's a bit too depressing honestly
Exactly
TikTok attention span
Just an awful movie that made the first story completely pointless.
Am I the only one that didn't really like the first film?
If it would have been named something else and it be a surprise to be a joker film would've been dope.
Now this one, as soon as I heard musical I was out. I HATE MUSICALS
They had the chance to make one of the best villain arcs in cinematic history and instead they made musical numbers for lady gaga cause DEI , Nah I'm watching the penguin instead.
Not sure how Lady Gaga doing musical numbers was because of DEI. Introducing Harley Quinn wasn't the problem with this movie. With a better script it could have worked very well. The issue is the movie hates the joker character and simply wanted to spit on him to antagonize fans of the first film.
Some/most of the songs should've been dialogue. Only like 2 songs fit the movie
Jared Leto was the best joker

Just saw it and I thought it was in between ok to meh
I've seen it in pre-screening and I hated every bit of it. I don't think it's good at all. I was actually annoyed by the musical bits, but that's just me.
Just wild I swear
This movie was terrible imo. It totally undoes everything the first movie did.
Because smoking is so kewl.. didn't you hear? Smoking shows everyone how non-caring and non-confirming and interesting you are. Duh.
Please god 🙏 let me like this 😂
😅🙏
Go with ZERO expectations. It's not very good sorry
Seriously trash movie this joker folie a deux is the worst film in 2024, totally cringe worst ever in DC is just musical movie. Not worth it at all wasting money.
I'm seeing this movie this Friday. I'm seeing mixed reviews in the comments section. I'm going in with low expectations.

Spoil it, spoiler review please 🙏
This movie looks bad, such a pity since I liked the first one a lot.
what exactly makes it look bad?
@smaugthegolden33 Lame reason but ok. Either love her or hate her 😂
@@micejoint132 being it a musical, boring trailer, and bad reviews…
Movie is bad plain and simple, movie should stop after the first one (imho)
I refuse to watch the movie they messed up Harley Quinns character in the movie and they chose a unattractive person to play her lady gaga 😒
I just got done watching it. The movie sucked
Sucked bad...Worst movie this year.
Mekhi Alley
Not interested in a sequel so won't be watching it, I love the first film and that's enough
Nobody cares
I think they wanted to make a movie trolling incels who loved the first so made a musical.
There are no “incels”
@@deathbymazda so... ya loved the original, eh?
@@AlmightySeaver?
They clearly trolled you then it seems 😂😂🤣 whining babygirl.
Havent seen this movie yet obviously. But, this isnt the real Joker or the real Harley Quinn. So I will be ok with this movie, just like I was ok with the first film.
i’m NOT watching this movie. nothing about it entices me to revisit what was a great 1-off
😂😂😂😂😂

Let's make one thing clear, Lady Gaga Is not harley quinn and never will be no matter what
