These videos are great! It's informative to see different methods of brewing. Looking forward to your tasting of this batch. Keep up the great work, mate!
Hi John. Love your stuff. I'm thinking of getting into brewing and saw this. Did you do a tasting of this? Was checking your RUclips videos but couldn’t find it.
I've currently got 2 X 23L fermenting with partial mash on the stove like what you have done here + kit (I'm glad that my grain bill and water quantities were similar to yours). The only disappointment was that I should have used the full amount of wort in one fermenter instead of splitting between two as I had to add dex to being up the OG. Oh well, that's all part of learning hey?

Yes. It is the StarDorado Ale. Which had aged a little better after the tasting vid.

Great Vid
As usual, love ya work bro 👍 bit concerned ya didn’t have a beer through the whole process so had a couple 3,4 ya. Look forward to the tasting day 🍻👍
Appreciate the support Andre. This all happened prior to lunch. I sat down with a beer once it was tucked away and I’d cleaned up.
also, I wouldn't want to appear like I'm encouraging anyone to drink....
@@littlejohnsbrewing don’t need any encouragement 😂 It’s ok to not have a beer also 👍
Hi LJ I'm going to give this recipe a crack but I would like to know what type of lager malt and pale malt to use?
what ever you can get. I used Gladfields in this batch.
Great stuff LJ! What yeast did you throw down on this one?
nottingham x 2
@@littlejohnsbrewing cheers LJ
Can you do a brew using wildbrew philly souring yeast?
I will add it to the list.... haven’t done a sour for honks.
Did you sparge the grain?
No, but it wouldn't hurt and probably would have got the extra 2 points I was short.
