Great review and i agree with everything you said. My feet were cut off in a motorcycle accident and it's very painful for me to walk even short distances. This has been a game changer for me.

This will help me get around, I have a hard time walking, but have no problem in standing, so this is going to very useful to me. I've read that they can go up to 14 miles on a charge? Gonna get one for my son thanks to your fine review. I was on the fence on which to buy but this buy far is THEE electric scooter/hoverboard/whatever to own. Pricey, but seems to be well worth the expense.
I need help with my hoverboard it will only turn on when I use the screwdriver in the pier button method and when I do get it on with that method on the board I see a flashing red light and I'm that area I hear a annoying buzzing noise. CAN ANYONE PLAESE HELP ME????
Great review. How's the stability on it? One of the reasons why I never grabbed one of those "hoverboards" was that I saw too many people stepping on and not being able to balance on it and flying into the wall or falling off after a spin out. Do you have the same issues with this or is there little chance of getting unbalanced and falling off? You make it look it so easy to balance on.. is it really that stable?
This thing is 10x better if you order the handlebars for it you can get it off there site. I have a video using the handlebars once I added them never went back to the knee staring, works like a charm :) They cost an extra 185$ but be sure to get the one with the kick stand. Had it for 3 months now :)

Get him a regular hoverboard, but a good one like the Halo Rover. They are far more fun and playful then the Segway Mini
for 1yr experience with Segway mini is there some hardware changes that you made, like battery, wheel, cushion?
