I found this: www.chevelles.com/threads/torque-specs-on-converter-and-dust-cover-th400-bolt-sizes.201676/ The original bolt I pulled looks the same as what’s shown in the post but the hex head is a little different and no washer. 0.5 inch long by .20 inch in diameter for the threaded portion.
Thanks for the video! I like how at approx. 9:05 in this video you show hot the filter just "floats" there and it not mounted super tight with no movement at all. I was just changing my fluid & filter in my Turbo 400 and when reassembling it thought I had the Filter Mounting Bolt or I lost some washers because it did not fit tight against the Transmission. Thanks to this video I can put it back together now.
Do you happen to know the thread size and length of the torque converter cover bolts?

Good deal, glad to help!
Thanks for the video, it helped me install my oil pan on my 1990 454 SS truck with a TH400. 👍👍
Good deal. I’m glad the video was helpful. 👍👍👍
Nice video, my 1995 f250 has a trick flow also and I was just wondering how the processe went
It went well and was pretty straightforward. Thanks for watching. 👍
Good job buddy.....
Any updates ...did it leak with the Moroso gasket?
It’s been leak free so far. I’m happy with it.
@@DavidJWarEagle did apply any RTV with the Mososo seal or just the bare gasket to the pan?
J B No RTV, just the gasket.
Now add fluid and take for a drive
Yep, I did and it has stayed bone dry ever since. This is a mod that is well worth doing, in my opinion.
DavidJWarEagle I gotta fix my pan leak on th400 as well. I'm glad you made this video. 👍👍
Brian Samuels You’re welcome. I’m glad you found it helpful. 👍
