Still think that the bridge and roadway should have been built with additional space on the margins so as to accommodate/facilitate the future expansion of the bypass to six lanes (inclusive of two future HOV/emergency vehicle lanes)...a case of being penny wise but pound foolish...
@@Paperchasingallday Montego Bay needs a tremendous amount of fixing in terms of road infrastructure, this bypass will assist to some extent, but I think a lot more is needed. Chinese are investing a lot in Montego Bay, they have taken over all the supermarkets and retail stores and they are helping us to build the highways. Now they are working on the Pinnacle project which will be luxury apartments and possibly the tallest building in the Caribbean.
I am for new developments, but is there anything new on river training to contain the banks coming from communities like Adelphi , Somerton, Mount Salem etc ? Over the many years Barnett River has swollen its banks when it rains heavily.
They have done extensive research on the lands for the bypass including developing proper drainage and run off for the water. It should stand the test of Mother Nature, but let us see when it rains heavily how it will behave.

We will be trapped in a third world country mindset for a longtime. Only those developed countries will have such features.

Ikr in most cases.
INE QUESTION 🙋🏾♂️ DO YOU KNOW IF THEY WILL BE A WALKING 🚶🏿♂️ LANE ON THE BRIDGE FOR PEDESTRIANS
I am not sure about that part but I think that they will have them on it to join the communities.
@@BrownBossJaTours I definitely would think it will be a walking 🚶🏿♂️ lane for people to go across
It’s a toll road, not made for pedestrians,
@@Djlevdno its not a toll road
