Thanks for this detailed list. How has it evolved since you posted 4y ago? Also, I would be interested in a vid with your insights and comparisons of your current favorite warm water boards for quality, value, durability and riding experience. 👍

Hi really helpful video but do you check your bodyboard bag as normal hold luggage or sports equipment? Any experience with Easyjet to Portugal with hold luggage vs sports equipment?? Thanks

Hey Chris, go for the option of small sports equipment. That's whay I opt for when I fly with my board bag and use Easyjet. Enjoy the trip!

Hey Adam, I use Surf Plugs ear plugs. They are made to measure and I find them excellent. Check them out here: www.surfplugs.co.uk/

What’s the secret for reducing nipple rash in warmer seas?
I never get it in the UK in wetsuit but put a rashie on and my nipples get ruined 😮😢

Through experience we have found that if a rashie is giving rub to use a t-shirt instead. Surprisingly they seem better for anti-rub a lot of the time.

    No spare leash ??

Hey, thanks for the comment. In 15 years of bodyboard holidays travel I have only broken one leash. So I stopped packing a spare (in order to save on my baggage weight). Funnily enough it was when I was in El Salvador on the trip when this video was filmed that I broke my leash! I think it is a great idea to have one if you are prone to breaking them. Good call.

Do you ever take more than one body board on a trip?

Hi Brad, thanks for the comment. Yes I usually take two boards. It depends on the location but often one prone board and one drop knee. I hope that helps! Rob
