I think it's been proven over the years, that validation and love from fans can only do so much for an idol, that is why there's been many tragic deaths and scandals. The peace and joy that idols seek has to come from inside. He has to figure out what his emotions stem from and not live based on them but process them.
As an enfj i understand bangchan....we do love people uncoditionally...coz we are born givers...we love to do for others...but sometimes once a while we feel that despite of giving love and efforts why another person is still cold to me...am i not lovable...did i did too much....
People commenting about why Felix doesn’t seem as affectionate or cute with Chan. My take on it is that because they’re Aussies the age difference doesn’t matter and they can act like equal friends. It also seems Felix is more mature with Chan because Chan relies on him a lot. With other member Felix is a bit more extra but with Chan he can be chill. If you look at their body language, it’s open, nothing is crossed which means they feel safe and comfortable. Also I think Felix is keeping his posture straight as I think his back is still not great here.
Yeah I think Felix is babied by the other members (which is fine and cute) but with Chan they see themselves as equals, Felix is a lot more relaxed and open when he’s with Chan, I think Chan is his safe space, he reminds him of home so he acts like he’s at home. I hope that makes sense Lol

@@ameliaross9344 to be fair in all the felix episodes felix is quite chilled with everyone include changbin also infact in felix x I.n episode I was quite surprised to see I.n is more talkative there and he's taking the initiative most of the time to talk about various things with him and felix was literally enjoying most of the time as a listener here also I felt that way only infact he's more comfortable with chan to share about his thoughts like he's getting calmer now and all and Chan is also asking about his changes if felix is liking them or not which is quite a family thing between them and I believe most of us is same when it comes to be with our friends we act different than when we are with our siblings so why to judge felix for this he's also a human and already going through a lot of problems but the thing is let him do his things in his own space which can make him feel happy and comfortable 💗

As an Aussie myself I can see how they are losing the ability to speak English naturally though as their brain merges between Hungal and English all of the time. It must be really hard to do. Jake from Enyphen now does the same and now finds speaking in Hungal more easier.

I know what you mean. I don't have any siblings, but most of my neighbors do. I basically raised and watched them grow up as I was the oldest out of all of us. They act the same way you described Chan and Felix’s relationship with each other.

not everything is salvageable footage. there must be moments where they don't know how to change the topic or make conversation and it becomes a little awkward and the director/staff would need to redirect the conversation to keep filming, so an entire session might be 1hr+, but the usable footage they get out of it can be only 15 or so minutes.

You know, I used to think the reason Felix is so precious to Chan is just because of a sense of kinship due to being from the same country. But I think it's more than that. Chan gave up everything to chase his dream in Korea. He gave up his home. I think when Felix showed up, he felt a little bit like home to Chan, and he needed that. That's why he's a little more attached to him than the others.
I think so too. The way he talks about Felix, is them same way I think about my younger sister. She is my definition of home, Chan's is Felix. Just like Chan I too dream of living with her again later on in life. I don't know If she has the same dream, but it doesn't matter. The elder is supposed to love the young one more, just like with Chan and Felix.
I also think like he acted like how Jessica was to Krystal or how Moonbin was to Sua. When I saw Bangchan's writing to Felix at the end of this video, the phrase, "I'll never leave you" just brought tears to my eyes. He has kept his word since the survival episode, when he said to Felix, "I'll never leave you yea? I'll always be there for you" when Felix got eliminated. This just shows how much they love each other and its just so heartwarming to see that 💕😭
He doesn't have to be an 'Idol' with Chan, he can just be himself. It's hard living long term in another country so many subtle differences, even if you're "from" that place in some way.

At first it seemed like Felix was uncomfortable or didn't want to talk much, but after watching the video and really understanding more about that relationship(plus reading the comments) it'd more like Felix is showing more maturity, reliability and growth with Chan because they're literally like brother outside the Koren spectrum of things. It breaks my heart that Chan is so insecure about literally everything. It's painful how much it shows in this video : asking Felix to go shopping with him because he's not confident enough to pick clothes, saying he can't wear rings because his fingers are "ugly", being relieved that Felix likes the present him better... They are always there for each other, really, the love they have for each other is immaculate. It's a trusting, safe bond. They know they can rely on each other whenever, knowing the other would catch them if they fall, and would protect them. These are true brothers, true soulmates, I think it's even something beyond that. It is just so special. These two are the most wholesome people ever. I think it's more like Felix has learned to control his emotions more. He's still an emotional person so sometimes emotions overflow but I think he means that he's learned how to manage them better, that's why Chan called him mature. I'm emotional as well, and ever since I was a kid it took me some time to learn how to properly manage my emotions. That's just my take on it.

Chan just takes every opportunity to compliment his kids. I know they mainly talked about how they should show them more love, but Chan shows love every second he gets.
You can tell they are really close because there’s no overacting or acting cute between them. Felix doesn’t even have to say much. They are just like family when you feel so comfortable you can even act sad or grumpy with them and feel comfortable feeling that way. They are true family.

People commenting about why Felix doesn’t seem as affectionate or cute with Chan. My take on it is that because they’re Aussies the age difference doesn’t matter and they can act like equal friends. It also seems Felix is more mature with Chan because Chan relies on him a lot. With other member Felix is a bit more extra but with Chan he can be chill. If you look at their body language, it’s open, nothing is crossed which means they feel safe and comfortable. Also I think Felix is keeping his posture straight as I think his back is still not great here.

You know, I used to think the reason Felix is so precious to Chan is just because of a sense of kinship due to being from the same country. But I think it's more than that. Chan gave up everything to chase his dream in Korea. He gave up his home. I think when Felix showed up, he felt a little bit like home to Chan, and he needed that. That's why he's a little more attached to him than the others.
I think so too. The way he talks about Felix, is them same way I think about my younger sister. She is my definition of home, Chan's is Felix. I think it's more like Felix has learned to control his emotions more. He's still an emotional person so sometimes emotions overflow but I think he means that he's learned how to manage them better, that's why Chan called him mature. I'm emotional as well, and ever since I was a kid it took me some time to learn how to properly manage my emotions. That's just my take on it.

You can tell they are really close because there’s no overacting or acting cute between them. Felix doesn’t even have to say much. They are just like family when you feel so comfortable you can even act sad or grumpy with them and feel comfortable feeling that way. They are true family.

13:30 I think I can honestly say that I like bangchan the way he is now more than the newly debuted one, solely because he seems more relaxed now. not in the sense that he has lesser work to do, but more in the way that he seems mentally unburderned, and more happier.
I feel like the work chan and skz as a whole, put in didn't match up to the results they got in the eras before gods menu. the ratio was just off, and it was obvious that they deserved so much more. their popularity skyrocketing after gods menu probably put their minds at rest regarding the whole "is our next release going to do well?" thing bc it gave them a large and stable fanbase.
i feel like he wasn't mentally well during a certain period, but im really glad to see thats not the case anymore (I hope, at least). It feels to me like the world's finally compensating him for all the hardships it put him through.
