Paul O'Grady was a one off and there won't EVER be another one like him. It's really sad he has passed away when he was still so young. RIP Paul, you will always be sorely missed by all who loved you 🕊❤

I have been absolutely bereft since hearing of his passing. I remember stumbling upon a clip of an old performance of Lily’s and I was GRIPPED immediately. He was an absolute icon. I know he and Cilla are together again, having a “lorra lorra laughs”
Simply joy and compassion on legs! RIP dear man.

Now its June & I still have not come to terms he has gone.Paul was such a very decent moral man a true socialist who would stand up for what he believed in. he had honesty & integrity splashed with an absolute cracking sense of humour & fun May you & lilly be free RIP LEDGEND XX

Paul was a big part of my childhood and will be remembered as one of the all time greats
I saw Paul as Miss Hannigan in the musical Annie at the Theatre Royal Newcastle. I had a great night. Paul was superb and danced during the song easy street. You wouldn't have thought anything was wrong. To learn of his sad death was a shock. I loved him as Lily, his chat show , great ormand street hospital, for the love of dogs and his recent show about Kent. Paul always came across as a smashing fellow. Glad I saw him in Annie. A good all round entertainer who will be sadly missed.
Such a shame, he definitely will be missed, such a brilliant person, kind, gentle and so funny. Now back with Cilla and Barbara, no doubt causing chaos together.
The only time I saw him in person was in 2015 when he played the fairy godfather of Cinderella in the barclaycard arena in Birmingham
