It's a meme in the community because a lot of novice players destroyed a card during its activation and said it was negated, but no, it was destroyed not negated

Gnasni Ikr! Like just summoning Synchro/XYZ/Fusion etc. is just so natural that you just do it. Whereas for a new player that’s like “Wait, there’s not just Normal/Effect Monsters!”

I believe so. That is one of the most difficult things to teach, hell I sometimes I even messing up. Also effects in the Battle/Damage phase are so so.

It's intentional. My target audience for these videos is more likely to be younger kids, so I want to make it as PG friendly as possible so that no one is scared away by my usual profanities. xD

I'm coming back to yugioh at 2:06 you say 7+ requires 2 tributes aren't there some normal monsters that require 3 tributes because of the high lvl or was there a rule change?

I'm an MTG player learning this game. Is Majesty's Fiend really good, other than the fact that it "dies to Doom Blade" and every other card seems to have that effect stapled on? Lol

hey- I've made a amorphage ritual stun deck- i have to ask this question and i hope you reply- about "Amorphage Gluttony" it says you can't activate monster effects correct? so does this effect also apply to hand effect monsters to graveyard effect monsters????
After reading Gluttony, it doesn't specify where it would be negating, so yes, it would negate all monster effect on field, in hand, and in grave. It's worded very similarly to Majesty's Fiend, for reference.

Trap cards are moreso magenta/ pink (Fusion Monsters are purple).

If your opponent defeats 2 of your monsters do u still need to tribute monsters? or do the 2 defeated monster count as the tribute?
ZombieFlesher14 - Gaming tributing monsters means moving them from the field to the graveyard in order to summon the monster you want to summon
If a monster is defeated, it is moved to the graveyard and not on the field anymore and are NOT tributes for a summon but merely in the graveyard

Dude this is fucking great. I started playing last year and honestly was lost af i was like "how many tributes do i need for a level 6 monster" wish these videos would have been around then. And well i think trap cards are pink?? Idk i might be wrong.

Spells can be activated from the hand on your turn
Only Quick-Play Spells can be activated on your Opponent's turn
A Quick-Play Spell must be set on your turn if you wish to use it on your Opponent's turn
A Quick Play Spell or Trap once set, cannot be activated until the the turn they were set has concluded.
Traps must be set first, before you can play them.
What does pot of greed do???
My brother has one card that is lvl 4 (normal card) that has about 18k attack points.Every time he gets it first he attacks me and i lose battle before it even starts.Is that how it works or is he using it wrong?I cant tell because its description only has some kind of a backstory.
I've never seen something with 18000 attack. What's the card's name?
There isn’t a normal card that can do that unless there a spell or trap or hand effect monster that immediately destroys your monster or enhancing his when he attack either it’s an illegal move or lies to twist the game
good video but one Error you made reguarding a tribute summon , they dont Require the monster to goto the Graveyard otherwise very informative Video ( sorta important since theres alot of Cards where that matters and you might confuse the newer players since they might encouter Macro/fissure )

My thought process was that I want newer players to understand where the monsters go once you tribute them, because for someone who doesn't know anything about the game, that isn't immediately obvious.

When its your turn how much cards can you play on your turn
UmzZ as many as you possibly can, or want to, as long as it follows the card and game rules. There is no limit to how many cards you can play during a turn, besides the normal rules of the game.

I do think, however, that the rules you give in your post aren't really the best way to lure in and teach new players. Telling them exactly what to do will just make it look like there's only one way to play the game, which isn't true in the least.
Instead of holding their hands and forcibly walking them to the finish line, give them a gentle push and let them figure out the rest on their own.
As for my competetive successes, I came in fourth in a 12 player locals. Win-Loss ratio was 3-1. I'm not going to act as if that's the greatest achievement ever, because it isn't, but at least I was having fun... unlike so many other people who play this game just to win.
