Cable locating dead power cables is much different than trenching around live or signal cable. Good supervisors shell out extra time to dig and verify the cable and companies have been forever trying to come up with a way too remove the expensive tech to locate and verify properly. When live or signal cables get hit many 100k are wasted due to down time agreements with fiber providers for police banks and 9-11. I have located and hit many cables and have learned this is a very special type of job that requires alot of training and big fists to pound on the table when people want to dig without proper verification. NOT HITTING LIVE BURIED CABLES SHOULD BE SOMETHING SUPERVISED BY AT LEAST 2 HUMANS AND NOT JUST A MACHINE WITH A LOCATOR ATTACHED. CABLE LOCATORS DO NOT GIVE PROPER DEPTH AND CANNOT BE TRUSTED TO GIVE PROPER READING 100% OF THE TIME. THIS JOB IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT VEFIRYING CONSTANTLY WITH A HAND SHOVEL BEFORE MACHINE ARRIVES.

"all of the Lego pieces are already out there." Meaning this space will rapidly expand and be led by the mega cap companies who are losing workers, Japan will probably be leading the way along with China in this field.

Who knows, like in space industry we have rather seen that the New Space is leading the transformation.

The one guy conducting this interview really needs to work hard on cutting the number of “likes” out of his vocabulary.

I see the irony of removing humans from the workplace and putting robots first is completely lost on ARK Invest. How about putting monkey into the ARK boardroom instead? SMH
