Ive been playing to mentronome all my life. Keeping the 1 n 2 n 3 n 4 method when counting tempo is crucial. This keeps us locked in the tempo. As a musician, growing up, a metronome was my best freind. Even a composer will move his stick in this 1 n 2 n 3 n 4 motion giving all members and instruments an accurate time signature to follow. Half notes, quarter notes, eight notes all fall into this pattern. Born and raised in music i was always taught. WITH OUT TEMPO THERE IS NO RYTHYM. Cheers
Very helpful stuff! I only started learning guitar recently & I'm documenting my entire learning journey on here so this was super useful & motivational!
So glad to be of help!
@@soundpaintacademy Thanks so much! And thanks for the great videos you put out.. they're appreciated!
This stuff always bugged me. Especially in live situations. "The Tempo is 120 BPM". "OK but i'm filling the kicks in twice as much so it sounds 240" and so on.
