I have this same MLC system. I love it, gets the job done. Is a very easy install and, most importantly, is a very affordable alternative to some of the other brands.

The outtakes are the best. Rock lights are always cool. I was thinking to put a kill switch for security and I never saw anyone do it yet. There must be some out there. Cheers!

When you say kill switch for security do you mean like an instant switch that kills all your aux lights ?

I wish you had shown the order you put the wires back on the new switches. I have some ordered and going to install the system this weekend. Going to use the two new switches for ELockers . Want to get it right the first time. Perhaps when I get the switches it will be obvious.

Bro LOVE IT! love the custom switches. I stayed with the normal switches, I too had an issue with the cap in the fire wall. i had to come from inside and twist it. but love the videos!

RC did not take into consideration a Jeep with manual transmission. The grommet used to fish the wiring harness through the firewall is taken up by the clutch system. Epic fail on the part of RC!
Either you have to dig out the battery, tray, fuse box, aux battery and poke a hole through the existing rubber grommet on the passenger side (good luck) or, fish the wiring harness up and behind the gauge cluster, out and through the windshield and its foam insulation, down the cowl, through the hood foam and along the AC plumbing.
Are the switches from lighthouseled the same? I bought some from Amazon and the terminals are diff. Can you link the switches?

Have you checked out the Quadratec LED Interior Mount 50” Stealth Light or the Oracle Lighting 5861-504 Sidetrack Fender LED Lighting System. Both would look great on that JL.
if you could do a video about how to add aftermarket power window & door lock kits to the Sport version, a lot of the sport guys will go wild to your channel

Where did you get the toggle switches? Most that I'm finding only have two pins rather than three.
Between watching this video and your push button start video. It should be possible to rig one of the switches to be your engine start switch, correct?

Someone should make something for the JK where that little useless net is in the center of the dash instead of putting it above the windshield or the A-Pillar but definitely love the look of the custom switches over the the stock rockers. First lights have to be a set of KC HiLiTES Flex Era 4's would look killer on the front of this, they are little pricey but are great too!

dam bro rough country just took us back to the stone age with that design. i was checking out the MLC but went with the Voswitch flat panel display on my JK, looks way better in my opinion. sorry if your sponsored by RC, just my opinion.

Anyone have a location to get the switches? I've seen some on Amazon just not sure if they are 12v switches or not.

Once installed do you need to use the wiring provided with cube lights and light bars? Or can you just run a positive and negative wire to the MLC6?
Good morning, you should only need a positive and negative to the control module. Similar to the sPOD unit. So far, I am adding a Mopar four switch module. Other options include sPOD, Voswitch, and others.
I installed mine and the switches only work when I start my jeep not in acc. Is this a problem? Is there something in this mcl-6 kit that prevents it from draining the battery?

Hey! I stopped using it because it was giving me some issue. Apparently, there has been several updates to the system but I haven’t gotten the new one. Hope that helps
That's where my lockers and mopar switches are. So no go for Rubis.
Unfortunately not! But they do make an upper dash version for the rubis
I installed the MLC-6 and it's "really cool" my guy. The next step I am trying to take is installing the custom switches. The video does show the wiring for this. Can you shed some light? I noticed the stock comes with 3 prongs but the one I have only has 2.
All depends on which switches you use. The wiring should be the same 👍🏼

Yes
Are the switches live all the time or only ignition on so you don't leave a light on and drain the battery.
You can have it either way. All you would need is to run a line to the fuse box and add it to the ignition fuse. 👌🏼

Adventuredex I try to send you a message on Facebook to get more information on this video. I ordered the switches and I noticed the wiring diagram is not on the original RC switches, so I don't know how to rewire them backup on the new switches. I paused the video at exactly 9 minutes and it looks like The 1st row on top are the wiring That was in the middle row of the original wiring set up, and the 2nd set of the wires, I believe are the red wires and the 3rd set of wires should be the green ones I believe, and i think they are going to the probg that's buy itself at the top of the switch.. Is there any way to do another video showing the wiring because I even see a wire that looks like it was extended and I'm trying to do this on my own and I don't want to screw it up thanks a million.also hope all is well because you haven't posted a video in almost a year stay safe.
Yea same the 12 v switched don't not work to big not Sure why he said. That's what he used and the wiring. He didn't include because it doesn't work

im at around 7 minutes in.. and i gotta say.... hopefully the directions/plugs for that are backwards... cause i'm sorry but that is extremely stupid to have a water proof connection... on the INSIDE of the cab... where ya know, no water should ever be... and the non-water proof connection goes into the engine bay where there's a pretty high chance of it getting wet... specially for those who have a snorkel and shove their front ends under the water on occasion...

Did what I did, buy some oem jeep led headlights and buy some rgb kits for them from oracle lights, the video they have sucks btw, I had to dremel to get the lens to come off but they look clean and I can change with my phone
