This interview is so disarming and comforting on so many different levels. This man was so real, humble and sincere, it's absolutely astonishing. I admired his music as a teenager, but now I'm discovering and admiring him as a person that I knew nothing about growing up behind the Iron Curtain. What a treasure of an artist and a human being he was. That he is missed would be an understatement of the century. I feel honored to have come across his music. It carried me through difficult times as a stupid but sensitive and kind teenager, and helped me survive real adult problems. Plus gave me hours of pure musical bliss when life was just...good. Thank you, Gary.
@Rocco Siffredi thanks but just to clarify I am a steve morse not the famous guitarist but you are without doubt the great italian stud am I right? By the way how did the last shoot go in the film King Kong and the 30 Virgins? Jokes aside Gary's Celtic sene of melody classical vibrato organic Les Paul tone were incomparable we agree.
The most incredible The Loner was about to release after this interview. Masterpiece. What a down to earth man. Gary moore. Need more moore. Miss you man
I wonder if The Loner was ever released as a single. I know it was the last track on the Wild Frontier album. One of my favourite guitar pieces by Gary. Interesting to hear him talk about what he's going to do and being able to look back and see what he did.
