    We're anthropomorphizing them a bit much??.. hmm an AI being deceitful that wasn't trained to be deceitful seems pretty human to me.. this is wild

Please consider and list all the reasons lying and deception is damaging to a person, a society, also why it would be damaging and detrimental to an AI model. What is the cost of lies? Can anything that has been constructed of untruth persist?
