I hate to tell you this, but: If Trump wins (or can steal the election, legally or otherwise), divided government--Trump white house, Democrat house/senate--will not, NOT stop Trump. He and his minions will do the unthinkable: they'll take over the government. One possibility: Trump will get the DOJ to do his bidding and Pelosi, Schiff, etc. will in fact be tried in show trials. This will get the Democrats--enough of them--to fall in line. And, dictatorship, here we come. I hope I'm wrong, that I'm just a raving, lunatic shouting "fire" in the theater. I fear that I'm not, though. In any case, no one is reacting to my "fire" shout.

You don't get it. The "chat bot" will be a movie generator, a first-person shooter game generator, a therapist generator, etc etc etc. you're thinking way, way too conservatively. People will pay money for a great game generator,a great movie generator, etc.

They are bumping up volumes at TSMC of their own in-house-designed trainium and inferentia AI chips. They will still buy boat loads of Nvidia hardware, but they get it that it's the AI itself, not the hardware. They can do it cheaper...eventually. They'll offer everything, they just want your business. AWS baby....

Gentlemen, here are my two cents for what it's worth. I read Mustafa Suleyman's "The Coming Wave" and was unsure and apprehensive about AI. I've started reading Nick Bostrom's book "SUPERINTELLIGENCE Paths, Dangers, Strategies," a Bill Gates-recommended read and began to understand how to think about a superintelligence timeline, and this took the fear out of what was coming. Note: I couldn't put Josh's Book down it was such a great read. I agree with Josh there is likely less reading going on these days. 🥲
