This week, we trade our cozy caravan for the ultimate roughing-it experience-sleeping in a swag at the stunning Caliguel Lagoon in Condamine, Queensland. 🏕️ But things get interesting as we battle the "wildlife" (okay, maybe just a few ants... and some curious mice 🐜🐭). The big question is: Do we really prefer this style of camping over our trusty caravan? And speaking of which... where did our caravan and Ford Ranger go? 🤔

It’s great to go ruff it a bit but it does reminds you our bodies don’t need this any more. You will really love the caravan when you get it back. Some times its good too go back to grass roots and ruff it , makes ya appreciate the caravan and the car when you get them all back , if yer the weather was crap stay in a cabin , i would 😂

Don't know if a roof top tent is a good idea, up and down on the ladder in the middle of the night isn't fun. LOL I have a AC 180 , its brilliant we take it with us in the caravan. I leave the Genie at home now! Great enjoyable episode, cheers Robert

Good on you guys for giving it a go....We just had a few days away from our caravan , but we went to a Resort.....we are definitely too old to go back to Tenting let alone swags. At least you give us all a laugh.

You guys could get walls for your pergola, instead of getting a tent.
Ahhhh we have tried one of those tent walls that attached to the gazebo but Jon put his foot through it, well he tripped out of the tent part lol. Thanks for watching
Funniest video to date…..won’t share with other half as it’ll only reinforce her opinion about swags….watched it twice….currently at Pardoo Station….sorry to hear about van and car issues….you’d think that he/she would have used a spotter especially given the size of the van.

Thats so funny. We are ditching our van in a few weeks to sleep in aswag too. But we bought an air mattress to go under the swag. It's our sons swag so of it doesn't agree with us the Son can have it back.

The length of time they have your caravan for is a disgrace! These caravan dealers really need to pull their socks up!
