Been through their am cattle truck never hav time look about
Glad we could give you a bit more of a view of the town. Thanks for watching 👀 🙂
"A Flock of Seagulls" was an English new wave band formed in Liverpool in 1979.
Thanks for confirming that my memory was still in tact lol. I don't recall them having many hits, hey. Thanks for watching 👀 🙂
I remember the "shi*" episode... 😂 couldn't really tell the dif in audio but I knew what was meant. Great episode.
Hahaha 😆 I stand my ground with how I say things lol. Thanks for watching 👀
Greetings. If my grandfather was there he would be buttering the loaf before you cut the next slice. Great vids!
That is so funny, he sounds like a good man! Thanks for watching 👀 🙂
Thanks for a great channel,
We are glad you enjoy our content!
Hi Guys, love your videos and use them for inspirations as we are about to set off on our lap in a few months, just noticed you have a tyre pressure monitor on your dash could I ask what brand and your thoughts please. Cheers
We really appreciate that comment, Thank you so much. The tyre pressure monitor is the ICHECK brand. To be honest Jon doesn't think it is that great. Thanks for watching
Another great aventure...Thanks!
We are glad you enjoyed the video!
I really enjoy your videos, guys. As a retired Interstate Truckie and a Queenslander, I believe that South Australia is the most underappreciated state. There is so much to see and do. Actually, my favourite town in the whole country is Ceduna. I am considering moving there some day soon. I have many relatives in Streaky Bay and some in Port Kenny.
We totally agree with you about South Australia and also considering the move there. Its a beautiful state
Just came across your channel and I’m glad I did. Thanks for the great video.
We are glad you found us too! Thanks for watching
The sculptures were interesting. Can't wait to see them for myself
They really were different but in a good way
I like the sculptures and how they blend into the natural surroundings 😊 Beautiful
We think so too, they are pretty cool! Thanks for watching
Some off them strange sculptures that don't make sence are worth heaps because the weird artist conned the council into paying big bucks for it and displaying it 😂 a rate payers delight 🎉
Love this. Thanks for watching
Happy New Year! Love your commentary. The sculptures are stunning.
Glad you enjoyed the sculptures! All the best for 2025
Thanks for another great episode. Hope you're recovering well Tracie.
I am getting there, thanks for asking! :) really appreciate that
Well at least you were consistently wonky with the bread cutting 🤣🤣 🍞
Hahaha I am definitely that lol. Never been great at cutting bread
Really enjoy your vids guys! Thank you.
Thanks for the support, we are glad you like them!
The scenery is stunning. We will be visiting the area in April 2025. Love the drone footage.
We hope you have a great time in April, the weather should be perfect. Thanks for watching
Good to see the drone getting put to work
Thanks, we've been practicing!
10:00 the sound😂🤢
Just keeping it real hahaha
ablusion's block should be for showers and toilets. amenities block camp kitchen.
Thanks for your thoughts :)
Great Ep guys. Love those drone views. Hope you had a great Christmas and we wish you every success in the new year. Lv Tanya and Jason
Thanks for watching Tanya and Jason, we wish you a great year too!
2025 new yrs, had totally the opposite experience. Entry was fine, and reception was about 20m maximum away. Only knew about the dump point due to this video,,,there was a more popular one at the back carpark where all the bins were,,,,,made sense to me. Toilets and public area's were constantly being cleaned. Even the port-a-loo's down the back So we camped right down the back at the lagoon with a 2wd and had no problems at all. Heaps of wildlife (Wally the water dragon) We were the furtherest away and literally a couple minutes from the beach. There was plenty of space, even when we did have neighbours. Yes some tents were right up against the road, but was definitely there choice how they set up.. This video DOES NOT reflect the time I had at all. Maybe some spots were tight for 900ft caravan's yes, but if you don't need to keep up with the Jones's and can drive it's fine. Totally recommend!!!!
Thanks for letting us know, it's great to hear different perspectives and experiences! As we said, this was our experience and opinion at the time we stayed, which was 2 years ago now. Looks like things have changed for the better
Great info for caravaners thankyou !
We are glad you found it helpful! Thanks for watching
wharf jetty what about a pier
Hahahaha dont throw a spanner in the works lol
I just love couple making videos together and having good time.
Thanks for watching
We like Streaky Bay, we have stayed there 3 times now. Our visit in 2022 out to Cape Bauer and Whistling Rocks that year the seas were rough, those rocks were whistling with water shoots. This years visit was cool, cloudy and drizzly rain. We didn’t drive into that cliff part at Cape Bauer, just walked in from the car park. South Australia’s coastline is beautiful. Really enjoyed the drone footage too. We plan to do the whole of the Eyre Peninsula one day. So much we haven’t seen.
We are glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for sharing your memories of Streaky Bay! Appreciate the comment about the drone footage
Really appreciate Jon's increased prowess drone skills! Certainly adds a new dimension to your videos. Thanks Jon & Tracie!
Thank you so much. We are getting there with the droning and editing. Appreciate the support
Very enjoyable tour thankyou both! You make me laugh "...resident shore birds roast and feast" 😆
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the tour.
I really enjoy the drone footage great skills Jon & Tracie you do a great job with the videos & all your editing. The pie ratings are all important when traveling Australia good job guys love your story
Thanks, we are glad you liked the video and the pie ratings!
Really enjoyable video. Thoroughly enjoyed it while having my morning coffee. Yes I remember "Storm Boy" & "Blue Finn". Had to read the books for school. Tracie, I hope you don't mind me asking. Why are you not supposed to walk on sand.
Thanks for watching. Regarding me walking on sand. I have short calf muscles which has damaged my Achilles. Walking on sand can cause my achilles to snap. At this stage I was awaiting surgery, which I had 7 weeks ago now on my left leg. Now have to recover before the same surgery to be done on my right leg. I have only this week been allowed to weight bare. Its been a longgggg recovery so far.
@@onlyleavingfootprints You poor thing. I wish you all the best for your next surgery and I hope you have a speedy recovery.
@@HilltopFarmHomestead very much appreciated
Another beautiful part of Australia. Nice you visited Streaky. Did you visit Port Lincoln?😊
Next time for Port Lincoln. Thanks so much for watching
Awesome area, Ill be doing that area next year. Looks nice. Cheers Judy
Thanks for watching and enjoy your trip. We hope you get to spend longer there then we did
I like the view of the main streets and the old buildings. A background commentary is good. May I suggest a gimble for the gopro so the picture is not gerky.
We are a little shaky with the camera sometimes. Thanks for the suggestion, will look into this when the $$$ come along. Thanks for watching.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year for 2025. Those time zones sure mess with your head. There is a time zone just for that area. I think it was about 45 minutes difference. Too far from Adelaide to use theirs, too far from Perth for theirs. It made for interesting times on our phones when we came through at the end of September, Noel’s phone time was different to mine. We were so confused. Glad when we moved further East and the time synced the same. You were lucky to stay at the Cliffs as now they are closed, lots of cracks appearing along there. No way would I stand close. 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎅🏻🎅🏻🎅🏻🎅🏻
Thanks, Merry Christmas to you too! It was pretty frustrating; we spent the first few hours confused about what time it was. There are still some areas on the cliffs open for camping, our daughter stayed on them a few weeks ago. Thanks for watching
Bedoorie..
Hahaha I am hopeless with pronunciation. Thanks for watching
Merry Christmas to you both 🎄 Thank you for another wonderful year of entertainment. Hope you’re recovering well Tracie.. see yous again next year 😊💕👍🏽🎄🍺
Merry Christmas to you too, thanks so much for your support!
Wishing you both a safe and happy festive season.
Thank you so much. And a Merry Christmas to you and your family as well
I think the glass windshields in modern day cars today are alot thinner 🤔 merry Christmas safe travelling 🍻
We couldn't believe how fragile our windshield was, especially on those rough roads! But coudn't complain, we nearly got back to Queensland without getting a cracked windscreen. Merry Christmas to you too
Haha. How could you miss the border? It's where the checkpoint is. 12km from Eucla. You would have had to reduce your speed right down, then fed off to the left around the checkpoint. "Border Village"....Think you were on the Nullabor same time as we were only we we're West bound. That mist was THICK.
Hahaha I think we were talking to much. Merry Christmas and Thanks for the support
We love our AC180. It’s handled pretty much everything we’ve thrown at it, even the aircon! Gives us an extra 97ah if we get crappy weather!🤙🏽
Its been great. We have had it now for around 10 months and it hasnt missed a beat. Thanks for watching
thanks
You're welcome! Thanks for watching
My Dad worked in the super pit and my mum worked in an old pub in KAL, I was about 6. My son started work in the super pit last year. The miners dug a tunnel from the put to the pub so they could have a direct route to the boozer 🤣.
That’s a funny story, I bet the miners were happy with that shortcut! Thanks for watching!
We're heading there for a month on Friday! Bit worried about the heat.
Wow a whole month, that’s great, you will love it! We found the humidity was worse then the heat. We were there in Feb though. Our daughter just finished a 3.5 month stint there too. Enjoy your time
I gave up eating KFC after I had my first CHICKEN TREAT. There is one in Boulder.
We went to Chicken Treat in Geraldton a few times. It was really good. Did not see the one in Boulder grrrr. Thanks for watching
I've been a subscriber for a long time and I love the street walkabout as a part of your videos. Keep up the great work and get John his meds.
That is really kind of you to say! We love showing off the streets, they're such a big part of the experience. Sometimes though, when I am going back through the footage, I am just not happy with what I have filmed. There won't be many street walk throughs for awhile however we will definitely ensure we do more in the future. Thank you so much
Oh , Jons medication. What a nightmare. We could not get the prescription dispensed in WA, we had a residential address there. So, he had to either skip doses or take smaller doses to get him through until we got to a state that would dispense it. Crazy hey
Hi great vid I like the town tours !
Awesome, glad you liked it! Thanks for watching
I thought your husband was a bit too excited about seeing the brothel and very disappointed when he realised he wasn’t going to be seeing the working girls in their environment. It was the icky part of the whole video.
Sorry you thought that. We were both keen to see the workings of the brothel and to chat to the girls about their life as you can in other countries. No different to chatting to workers in any other industry. What we were disappointed about was the fact that this is advertised as a working brothel, yet it is not. Anyway, thanks for watching
A beautiful video on the city of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. (I was born and lived many years in Kal then after a few years of living away i have returned back to the area to live nearby). If you’re ever back over near here (Kalgoorlie) feel free to reach out to me if you'd like to go bush detecting for gold. Id be more then happy to take you. Anyhoo hope you guys are having happy and safe travels 😊
That’s really kind of you, thanks so much. We would love to come back to Kalgoorlie, we really liked it there. In fact, our daughter and son in law just did a 4 month stint working there. We appreciate your support and kind offer
