“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?”
― Epicurus
Well, considering he was a polytheist . . .
@@johnmolina3284 proof?
@@wimgrundyearth5753 oh, you poor ideologues--so grudge-bearing!!! But here's your fucking PROOF: "Epicurus rejected the conventional Greek view of the gods as anthropomorphic beings who walked the earth like ordinary people, fathered illegitimate offspring with mortals, and pursued personal feuds. Instead, he taught that the gods are morally perfect, but detached and immobile beings who live in the remote regions of interstellar space." -- Wiki notes: George Strodach, "The Art of Happiness," (Penguin Books, 2012).

Romans 5:
7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
peace on earth.....where?
Inside you. It's YOUR duty to bring good to the world.
I bring good but it's the task of a lifetime...
There is goodness and love in the world because of the richness and creative force of Nature, not necessarily a Creator which gives no answers
:i Yeah. Alright then. "Nature".

shawn6669 so you haven’t read the bible, then? Man abandons god very early one. In the first story.

I finally figured it out William Peter Bradleys novels and movies Good vs Evil
Here is how to watch and what each film means and the original prequel before it was destroyed by MORGAN CREEK Even thought not based on a novel or written by William he himself praised and loved the makers conception of Dominion.
1. Dominion- The Faith Of Good and The Birth Of Evil
2. Exorcist- The essence of Good and Evil
3. Ninth Configuration- The Existence Of Good
4. Legion- the embodiment of Evil
The worst prequel and sequel are the ones with Exorcist in the title they tried to be too similar and to be to horror like they had no real plot, story, remorse, love, message or reason please DO NOT WATCH THESE MOVIES!!
1. Exorcist 2 The Hectic
2. Exorcist the Beginning
Huh???
@@johnmolina3284 yep
Nice watch list, I have met someone who made a fan edit of Dominion/Exorcist the Beginning, it's good using most of Dominion and only a few things from Beginning. But I must say, learning of the Trilogy of Faith last October has changed everything for me. William Peter Blatty told a magnificent trilogy of stories that are about one's faith. Why isn't this mentioned more often?
Laughable - good and evil are two sides of the same self-preservation coin- the latter merely operating with a broader view.
I thought the result was unfortunately derivative of "King Of Hearts" in tone and timbre. I think there was a possibility of a good (however belabored) movie within it's intentions but it's proximity to de Broca's work demanded a surgically defined identity in construct. This said without even the mention of "Catch 22", both movies predating the work and brilliantly managing to sidestep the clutter of theology in the process. Sorry, attempts to overrate that film can scarcely overlook these two under the circumstances.
I saw it as pretty similar to M.A.S.H. at first but it goes deeper. Deserved the Golden Globe.
