They're cable routing clips. As long as you have enough length to the power and video cables going to your monitors, the clips keep things looking much cleaner and more organized.
We're sorry the stand has this problem! It's possible the bolt was inserted backwards at the factory. Try switching it to the other side (bolt should slip through the 1st hole and tighten into the 2nd), and if it still doesn't work, please contact our customer support team: vivo-us.com/pages/customer-support-new
The individual height can be adjusted by about a half inch. To do this, remove the security cap nut from behind the VESA mounting plate, then use the smallest provided Allen wrench to turn the screw underneath. It's also possible to adjust the arm swivel joints tighter or looser to help them sit at the same level.
The width of the arms allows the 27" monitors to fit side by side with some room for movement and adjustability. As long as your monitors have VESA 75x75mm or 100x100mm mounting holes in back and each weigh 22lbs or less, they'll fit the stand. Using different models of monitors could result in misalignment though, so you may also want to consider using one of our gas spring adjustable mounts (such as this one: amzn.to/3mDUHpD ) to allow free adjustment of each individual monitor for perfect alignment.
The 3 screws may be black in the most recent batches of this stand. If you do find that any parts are missing, please contact our customer support team: vivo-us.com/pages/support
