You can install agents on linux, mac, windows.. also theres a number of adversaries that you can use to simulate traversal. Have a look here:caldera.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Lateral-Movement-Guide.html

Does the tool come with recommendations on which servers to install the agents? I assume you would want to emulate traversal too
