Thanks very much for this. I had trouble following other videos on youtube, but with your tutorial, I was able to create several Quick Drives. It literally took me 5-10 minutes, to produce some on routes, that didn't have any before and also able to create a couple of variances on existing ones, where I could send the train via a specific station, that the original wasn't routed to do.

I've had a lot of issues with the Marker-Player Spawn Point for Quick Drives. Everytime I put it on a track, the arrow points backwards (in reverse) and I have no idea how to switch sides and have it point forward (in front, not in reverse).

Everytime I start a new scenario it comes up with a block of blank land with just grass. It didn't have train tracks and infrastructure.. and I want to publish the route to Steam Workshop..
Is there a possibility in QD to in reduce the interval of departures from 30 to 5 or less minutes? On the Alan Thomson Simulation FB page tells me that the interval can be reduced, but they probably thought I had TS 2019. I have TS 2016. If it can, how can I do it?

Can you make a tutorial on how to make the locations you choose on the screen to choose where you want your scenario to start? Like the locations on the gps?
Matt, these videos are great thanks alot! How do I add my DLC trains to my own routes? I have the Mallard/FlyingScotsman/etc and I cant find them in my engine selection
Not sure if you haven't found out yet but select the small block with an orange arrow then click on the name from who made the train and tick the middle box.
I LOVE this tutorial!!! One question. Is it possible to either 1 - add AI spawn points on the 2d map? 2 - click on the 2d map and be taken to that place in the 3d map (instead of being taken to the start of the quick drive location)?
hello friends, i am trying to make a QD scenario for semmeringbahn, but the only AI consist i get from the ai spawn point is the ÖBB eurosprinter, although i ticked all the freight boxes LOL how do i make or create the ai consists that i tick (as in: coal, gravel, container etc) and are then showing up in the game at an ai spawn point i made? matt probably allready has/had a boatload, but he did not showed how he got those in this tutorial.. i am confused right now ;-) thanks!!!
Have you found the solution? In my case most of the AI spawn point never spawn AI unless the last one I created. I've filtered many trains from other routes too.
Hi Matt, I think I still don't get the idea of QD. Is this designed _only_ to drive from A to B? Picking up a consist waiting on a siding is not possibe, also not longer waiting time at a platform to give way for an IC, refueling, etc? Do I understand it right? Excellent tutorial by the way!

Good video. Just can’t get the hang of adding a spawn point. Another one appears. I’m getting restless and frustrated.

Mine says that the destination in not connected. All the tracks are connected and the destination is on the same track.
Thanks Matt for the help! The problem was that the track direction was set to Up/Down and not both.

So - we know how to add AI types to a marker, but how do you determine which types of trains fall into each category?

When adding an AI I can only add one is it possible to add more then one. The last one created is the only one showing

how often do AI Trains swapwn?
Ishis the same as the standard scenario's? If not can you do one for them. On the NJT coast line would be very helpful. Thanks!

Placing spawn points is so fucking difficult. I didn’t even try for the 10th time to tell it what to do. I’m just gonna let it spawn me in.
