    This is true for most small businesses. People dont want to walk to the corner Butcher, or Dry Cleaner, because they can just order services off their phone, and have it delivered. I love going to the new Meat Shop down the street from my house, and having a conversation with my actual butcher, and asking for specific cuts, or herbs, or whatever. These small, local shops will bend over backwards for you, when the big guys dont give a shot about you

      Totally agree, it’s really disheartening to see this. Theres a personal touch to buying from a small business like this. Time have changed over the past decade unfortunately, the prices and convenience of large corporations have really snuff out historic establishment like this one

      They are in cobble hill, Brooklyn if you ever stop by. John is a great guy and very easy to talk to

    People just don't know more healthier than supermarket meats can't compare with quality of a butcher shop

    If I was in Manhattan, I'd come in every other day to bite. I hope you survive. We need stores like us.

    I'm sorry, it might just be because I'm from Canada and I've studied under a German butcher with a master's degree but what in God's name did you just do to that Ribeye steak!?
