"4x4 conseillé" it says at the top of the French side. It wasn't kidding. We came down the pass in a 2 wheel drive VW Golf. What this video didn't show are the numerous speed bumps made of rocks that would crunch the underside of the car each time, every one making us wonder if it would cut the brake line. I've never been so glad to see tarmac as on that stretch of road... I would absolutely love to go back in a more appropriate vehicle though!
Hi gsbeak, What kind of a motorbike did you have? Is it a cross one like the green one someone else had that you can see during your video? Is the gravel on the road loose, is the surface hard? Would it be possible to go up this road on a road bicycle? There's still snow that blocks the road. Was this in early or late May? How's the road coming down on the other side of the border, i.e. in Italy? Thanks.
J'ai pensé la même chose ! Quel manque d'éducation ! Il ( ou elle ) devait bien se douter que reculer sa moto à la main et faire tranquillement le tour de la Kawa, ce n'est pas à la portée de tout le monde ... Ces promeneurs n'ont plus le respect des motards !
