Don’t ever feel bad for grieving for your pet. We grow an attachment for living things that we consider part of the family. People grieve for all sorts of animals. Animals bring comfort is the reason we have them as pets .
I don't have the finances at the moment to buy Chanel or Dior bags or clothes, but had the most interesting experience 2 days ago as pertains to perfume. I stopped at the Chanel counter and wanted to ask about the Coco Mademoiselle Intense. The girls at the counter were rude and dismissive. I strolled over to Dior to see if they still carried the Hypnotic Poison in store...the Dior counter manager was so excited to help me, was so informative and chatty, and then proceeded to invite me to an invite only pop-up Dior boutique happening in 2 weeks, and gave me her card and cell phone and told me who to ask for at the event of she wasn't there yet...and as I left the makeup department, she called across to me saying nice to meet me and she hopes to see me at the event...and yes the girls at Chanel heard it all and stared are gobsmacked. When the day comes I can buy my first ultra high end bag, it will from Dior...all I've heard on RUclips about Chanel was just on full display for me irl.
Mary Wolfington I would buy a Dior bag over Chanel any day. They do have far better CS. I don’t even live in a place that sells anything high end but, I would drive to South Florida to have the experience! 😎
Personally, I've actually never had a bad experience with Chanel, not any beauty counters, nor at any store. In Toronto, where I lived, they were always very helpful, and in Amsterdam and Athens, same...
@@KemiS-M best part, that I should have included in the OP, I did NOT buy, nor order anything from Dior...BUT, I absolutely guarantee that in another month when my old bottle of Hypnotic Poison runs out, I will be going straight to the counter so the manager can benefit from the sale...I could save a few bucks buying it online, but she went over and above and earned the commission she will get on that sale 👍🏻
Can you please do the same video with your Dior collection? I would love to hear your opinions, as I find Dior to be the "better" brand overall, or at least I find their designs and customer service more appealing.
I agree with you about customer service at Chanel vs Dior. I’m in US and same experience here. These designers need to realize this is a huge investment and customer should be respected. I feel like I have to warm up to the Chanel associates vs the other way around. I don’t have to prove anything to these designers. It’s my choice to buy or not buy! Thanks Sophie for sharing your beautiful collection!
Anyone else never really buy luxury but watch Sophie's vids as she's such a nice, down to earth and engaging person? Have owned a couple of things in past but definitely not a 'luxury shopper'. Plus do love the Harrods vids as bit of escapism!! 😅
It’s been ten years and I still grieve for my stallion. I had him for 27 years and my husband was the only man he ever approved of. Went out and bought a Mercedes. I get your grief. The San Francisco boutique was great when I was there so was the service but Tiffany has the best service in the world at the main store in New York City.
I ve noticed that at harrods Chanel department sales assistants are very rude . On the other hand , in Paris Chanel boutiques eeevery employee is sooo friendly.been there many times wearing my snickers and leggings (looking like a hot mess )and got top quality service. They were so polite and helpful, offering me drinks and presenting all the bags in the store . Stayed there for like two hours and the sales assistant wasn’t bored or irritated at all. Excellent service in France Chanel boutiques. I had the same experience in Nice boutique as well...
Sophie, your emotions regarding losing a beloved pet are valid and natural. I hope you remember that no matter how small or big the incident that makes you feel negatively(sadness, grief, loss, etc), you don't have to downplay it. Acknowledge what matters to you and let yourself feel how you feel in moments like that. As always, thanks for sharing with us your love/passion for bags, fashion, and others! I dont have a lot of friends with the same interest but the community here in your channel is lovely 🙂
I would also love to see a Dior version of this video! You have a wonderful collection. I always enjoy seeing what you keep in your collection, you have such a classy and chic style!
I totally feel for your loss. Pets ARE part of your family. Those who do not understand have never had pets or do not have much feelings. Love all of your videos and really look up to you and admire you very much.keep up the great work.
I never had an issue when I’ve gone into Chanel, I live in NYC and I took my mom there to buy her some gifts for her birthday and they were really helpful, they gave my mom some champagne and fruit along with a complimentary makeup look. Because they treated my mom with such respect I ended up buying more than what was originally planned. The Chanel boutique on Spring street has lovely customer service in my opinion.
I had a beloved pet rabbit, a “black” and white Dutch who was like a house cat. I understand the pain of losing a bunny rabbit pet. They are so loving and sweet!
I totally understand about how upsetting it is to loose a pet. When our 13 year old cat went missing- some idiots actually said " well it's not like it's a dog"😡😡. So understand how upset you must have been about your rabbit- any pet no matter what it is , becomes a family member
You have the most beautiful Chanel collection that I have seen. All of your piece are different and in such beautiful colors and styles. I agree with you 100% on customer service. Dior is the absolute best! I have a wonderful SA in the SoHo NYC Chanel. If any one is in that area, ask for Bonnie. Great video! Thank you for sharing! ❤️❤️❤️
Losing a pet hurts no matter what animal. I agree not everybody would understand but from someone who loves all animals I do. My two cats are my youngest babies.❤️🙏
I just discovered your channel a few days ago and it’s all I’ve been watching! I’ve been wanting a Chanel bag for sooo long and you’ve given me wonderful information to help me with my decision! Thank you for your wonderful and fun videos! They truly help me get through my long days at work!
I've only been in a Chanel boutique once here and my friend and I looked raggedy af but the girl (she was alone and clearly bored af) got us water and let us wander around and asked if we wanted to see anything. I was surprised because I've heard horror stories from how people get treated in Chanel. My lux horror story was at Valentino in NY though. Talk about dismissed until I fully picked up a shoe and walked it over to a clerk and said; "I want this." Even then I was still treated like crap. After that I went to Dior and the people there were such rockstars. The guy asked me how my visit at Valentino was and when I told him how bad it was he was super displeased and I followed up with how awesome I've heard Dior always is and he gave me a high five. XD Bought a bracelet and earrings as I can't afford a Lady Dior yet but one day!! Also, I know my comment is irritatingly long but I wanted to tell you Sophie--I am right there with you when you were speaking about your beloved bun. People dismiss the deaths of animals unless it's a cat or dog. I owned rats for awhile and people would give me shit constantly when I would take them to the vet or one passed away; "ew. it's just a rat." I feel those are the people who can't truly claim that they "love all animals" if they can't understand that humans can bond with animals that aren't just dogs and cats. Okay I'm done rambling now--loved your video and your collection
A year ago my cat died, I live alone and I'd had him for 12 years. I was devastated and eventually had to get another pet to help recover. My new pet had been abused and I needed him as bad as he needed me. I named him bunny....... I get your pain. Thanks for all you do 🐰
For shopping in Chanel (in Hong Kong), in my experience, I need to go in during non-peak hours, or at periods when there are fewer tourists, then I could get their attention and they are really helpful. If I just want to go in for a browse, I will go in during those shopping peak hours, as I know the SA will ignore me, so it actually works to my advantage. I guess I just don’t look like their most prestigious customers, and that’s fine by me.
I totally get the loss of a pet devastation, I have been through that too 😢 miss him still . I ordered the Chanel chevron Trendy Cc in your shade , thanks to you showing it I fell in love with it , thank you ! 😊😊😊
Hi Sophie. That raspberry colour is so beautiful on you! It's one of my colours as well. The rounded shoulder pads are more feminine and flattering that the square ones. Ive been through the 80's and 90's and this blazer is very 90's. It reminds me of the Armani looks of the time. Don't ever get rid of this one!
My kids and I had indoor bunny rabbits, also! The kids and bunnies loved cuddling with each other. Bunny kisses are the best! We miss them we haven’t wanted to replace them yet.
Bouclé is the type of fabric the bag and jacket are made of. Gucci customer service is great and relaxed- that's where I made my first designer purchase.
So sorry your Chanel store has such bad customer service. We've always had wonderful service. Everyone is so cheerful and helpful offering to get bags out for us before we can even ask. Love your collection 🤗
Just started the video and wanted to say your feelings are valid and when any animal is around he/she becomes a part of your family and if anyone in your family passes away, it is understandable that you would be devastated. Just wanted to say that...back to the video!
I use to work for A luxury Brand and we do training for sales people in all our stores twice A year around the world for products, company and service using the same standard and i believe that's what most of luxury Brands do, in my opinion the customer service is a reflection of the company's culture. love ur collection
Beautiful collection....sorry to hear about your rabbit...my kitty passed from cancer last June and it was quick and sad...animals are family and I totally understand the grief...hugs from Canada 🌹
I enjoy shopping at Chanel in HK and Macau the most! The SAs are friendly and patient. And they always send a thank you text after I leave the boutique.
Hi Sophie! I’ve been watching your channel for quite some time (I want to say since around December 2018?). I originally lurked RUclips for reviews on luxury items just because, stumbled upon your videos, and I’ve been a subby ever since! I just wanted to share with you that this weekend I finally landed my first luxury handbag after a lot of hard work and months of research. You taught me what to look for, how to determine what worked for me, and what to stay away from. My new ultra-matte lady dior clutch thanks you for finding her a loving home with me! Sending a ton of love from the smallest state in the US! ❤️❤️❤️
Your black and white Chanel jacket is superb.....so chic!!! I own the exact Chanel Black Cruise Handbag with the black/gold chain short handle. Every single time I carry it, I receive several compliments. 😊 The handle makes it very unique. Love the pearl handle you made for your pink Chanel Classic Flap. 😍
I went to Selfridges last week and had a similar experience to Mary Wolfington. I was browsing the perfume/beauty counters and the Dior lady was THE most helpful assistant I have EVER dealt with, full of smiles and advice and not at all pushy. She also complimented my skin which I know she probably does to everyone, but when you are the wrong side of 40 you take anything you can get! Chanel on the other hand were totally disinterested, had their back to me, didn’t ask if I needed any help etc so I walked away. If the day came where I could afford a bag from either, as much as I love the classic chanel look I think I know where I would rather shop!
Sophie, you are going to live a long life! I was thinking this morning “Sophie hasn’t made a video in 6 day’s, I hope she’s ok or is probably very busy”. And then you uploaded a video! Yay me!🥰
I’m so sorry for your negative experience. I had a wonderful experience with Chanel at Short Hills NJ . Love you Sophia! You are such a beautiful person! You helped me actually decide on my first Chanel. Thank you. ❤️🇺🇸❤️
Thank you so so much Sophie ❤️ You actually help us understand what we want and what's out there before we make the big purchase and then regret it. Love love you and your channel ❤️ you're the best 😘
Ooooh that raspberry jacket! Beautiful! And I love the Chanel champagne boy bag. Hope you will make a Dior version too! Totally off topic but I was in Berlin many years ago and they have a Cartier shop. I was standing outside and my mouth dropped I instantly fell in love with a necklace of 35.000 euro. Hahaha. They said please come in, I said no because I was never going to be able to afford such a necklace, and they still invited me in, so lovely! They let me watch and never pushed me to buy anything.
Anther fab video Sophie!!! Fave bag...although hard to choose was was the last Beige flap!!! SOOO gorgeous. Loved them all though.... Also, sad to hear about your bunny :( Any pet is hard to lose but glad you have fond memories through your beautiful bag xxxxxx
ive had my black and white tweed classic flap for around 6 years and honestly its trashed (i would describe it as having "bald spots" lol, also its quite saggy, i also have worn in to death so its to be expected), however in my humble opinion i find it to be quite cute and a bit edgy to style a completely rattered tattered mess of a chanel bag !
I’ve got the Chanel medium double flap classic in black/gold, the Chanel coco top handle medium in black/silver, and the WOC in black/gold, along with 3 SLGs. 😍 I realize I’m very blessed to be able to afford these items. I wish everyone’s able to buy at least 1 item because their items are gorgeous! I’ve had only good experiences at Chanel until the very last time I purchased a handbag. They made me feel like I was noticing something that wasn’t there. I stood my ground until they got me a replacement. That was an odd experience since I’ve never had a bad experience. Suffice to say the man helping me from the beginning was super nice and it was the other women Chanel workers who were being nosy who kept making comments making me feel like I’m making something up. I live in the US btw. In my area there’s only (1) Chanel boutique that sells handbags. Same with Dior, we have only (1). Otherwise I’d have to drive 4 hours to NYC.
Pawrent to two bunnies here, and 100% agree with you. I love you even more, Sophie knowing you're a bunny rabbit kinda person! Enjoyed your Singapore travelog too .... xoxo, from Singapore!
Dear Sophie, Gorgeous 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Chanel collection with an accurate and meticulous choice of these amazing 😉 pieces, Amon which the red crop jacket 🧥 suits you like a glove 🧤 and is FANTASTIC! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼💕💓💕💓💕. Here in🇨🇭 we might be the lucky 🍀 ones, but fortunately the Chanel customer service in Geneva is impeccable 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻: hope 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 it will remain like this 🤞🏻💖😊. All the best to you, David and the lovely 😊 rabbits 🐇 and thanks 🙏🏻 for sharing ❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜🤩🤩🤩
I definitely agree with you. I was at the CHANEL store in NYC and the store was empty. No one asked if I needed help. I went around the store looking at bags from afar. Then I hopped over to DIOR and was greeted right away. The salesperson was patient with me. I ended up buying the Montaigne bag, a pair of earrings and Small Book Tote. lol That money could have gone to CHANEL if they actually helped me. Nowadays when I do buy CHANEL bags, I go to Bergdorf Goodman, I met a lovely SA whom helps me with all the designer bags they sell. I’m not sure with all these grievances aired on social media, why they haven’t changed the way they service potential customers.
This was really enjoyable and helpful. I am hoping to buy a Chanel bag next month, which I am seriously excited about. It’s a vintage medallion tote and I have been stalking them on the preloved market for some years, watching the prices go steadily downwards. But there is a point where the prices are really good but they are getting so old now that if I wait much longer my chances of getting one in very good condition with all the accessories becomes difficult. I think it’s at that point now so it’s time to pounce. It would be very helpful, not to mention a lot of fun, if you could do a video like this on your Dior collection. You have the best Dior collection I have seen on RUclips, so that would be particularly good.
Dior are so wonderful. I always get really good service even if I am just browsing and not buying anything. They almost always offer a drink, very chatty and more than happy to help. In Harrods in the ground floor bit they can be a bit hit or miss but that's usually only if they're super busy which is understandable. Chanel? Like that high school bully who you have to try and get on their good side. Not worth it IMO.
The blazer looks stunning on you, and the color suits you! Your collection is very well planned. Love that your bags are so colorful! I think my first purchase will be either a pair of earrings or a brooch, the ones without any stones or pearls though, something simple and easy to wear.
I went to a Chanel store here in Toronto with an intent to buy their bag. The experience was so bad that I walked out and promised myself NEVER to buy anything Chanel in my whole life.
CHANEL sales associates are notorious for treating prople like dirt.. and they don't care how it affects the brands image as long as the "every girl dreams of owning a chanel bag" is still propogandized in female society.
I have only gone to Toronto’s ‘flagship’ store in Yorkville, and they have been great to me! I haven’t gone to the shop in Yorkdale Mall, as I haven’t heard a lot of positive things about the customer service there.
Sounds about right lol..... but the stand alone store at Yorkville was great, and even security was great......the one at Holt renfrew is really terrible, and the service at Yorkdale was okay but not that impressive. Security at Yorkdale was unfriendly.
Hello Sophie! I wear the Jumbo like the Gabrielle Bag - and especially as a mom - I love the way to wear it! I think this is why the strap is so long. Have a nice day!
Hi Sophie! I understand how you were feeling when your rabbit died because when I found out my goldfish died after coming back from a holiday, I was devastated as well ❤️
Hi Sophie! Love this video... I've recently bought my own PMD microdermabrasion and Clean Pro by your recommendation. And I have started using it and I'm really not sure if I'm doing it right. Although I've already noticed improvement in my skin condition... I was wondering if you could do a video on your actual use of the items and offer some tips on how best to use them for maximum benefit? I would really appreciate it.. Thank you and God bless!
What a Marvelous Bargain the Jacket was! I'm very Impressed with Harrod's! After watching a few of your Videos, I think I'll just make Harrod's my Store & be done with alit of Running around the Different Shops in London! Besides if riding in a Taxi, EVERYBODY knows how to get to Harrod's!! 😊 I've not heard you speak of Selfridge's much, do you ever shop there?
Omg, yes on the Dior customer service. My Dior SA even reached out to me during the pandemic to check-in on me and my family; Hands down, the best service ever... the other fashion houses should take a page out of the Dior customer service book.
Don’t ever feel bad for grieving for your pet. We grow an attachment for living things that we consider part of the family. People grieve for all sorts of animals. Animals bring comfort is the reason we have them as pets .

I had great experience with the upper floor Chanel I’m Harrods. Ground floor Chanel staff are rude everytime

Don’t feel bad for grieving a bunny. A pet is a pet, it doesn’t matter the size. Pets become part of the family
Yes! 😔
It’s so true!!
i gasp every time i see that yellow bag it’s so beautiful
I would also love to see a Dior version of this video! You have a wonderful collection. I always enjoy seeing what you keep in your collection, you have such a classy and chic style!
The pearl top handle you added to the bag is just adorable!
I totally feel for your loss. Pets ARE part of your family. Those who do not understand have never had pets or do not have much feelings. Love all of your videos and really look up to you and admire you very much.keep up the great work.

I just discovered your channel a few days ago and it’s all I’ve been watching! I’ve been wanting a Chanel bag for sooo long and you’ve given me wonderful information to help me with my decision!
Thank you for your wonderful and fun videos! They truly help me get through my long days at work!
Love it!!! You should do a luxury store etiquette video! Do’s and dont’s of shopping in luxe stores!
Your yellow chanel will always be my favourite bag of yours. Its stunning

Sophie, I have a rabbit too, love him so much!! Rabbits are great pets✨✨ so sorry for your Ralphie😢
The Trendy CC is my favorite. I wish they had it in more shades of blue, and the caviar leather.
Awesome rainy day fund! The jacket is a great find. Beautiful color on you too!
Sophie, you are going to live a long life!
I was thinking this morning “Sophie hasn’t made a video in 6 day’s, I hope she’s ok or is probably very busy”. And then you uploaded a video! Yay me!🥰
U have a great collection of Chanel bags, I have the classic flap, and love it, I bought it pre loved. Wish I could afford more, ur lucky.
I love that custom pearl handle.
The Chanel shoulder padded jacket... wow, just wow 😍😍😍
The yellow bag is the real winner here 😍
I’m so sorry for your negative experience. I had a wonderful experience with Chanel at Short Hills NJ . Love you Sophia! You are such a beautiful person! You helped me actually decide on my first Chanel. Thank you. ❤️🇺🇸❤️
I’m a simple woman: I see Chanel and I click 😍😍💞
Hello Sophie! The customer service in Chanel Paris is excellent!I had the time of my life and I agree about Dior service❤️❤️❤️❤️🇫🇷
Thank you so so much Sophie ❤️ You actually help us understand what we want and what's out there before we make the big purchase and then regret it. Love love you and your channel ❤️ you're the best 😘
Beautiful collection. Love them all. Thank You so much for sharing darling ❤️
I do love the one with the chain handle. Just beautiful.
Sophie thank you for sharing your Chanel collection I live vicariously through you ❤️
Almost 300k subscribers Sophie!! 😁😁👌👌 Love your new Chanel item by the way.
Hi Sophie. I love your collection. Thank you for sharing. Have a lovely week.
Love all your Chanel pieces esp the Chanel jacket!
OMG I just got a new Chanel Jumbo Flap! I just unpacked it on camera. Love growing this collection.
Sophie you are so humble and understanding
It is so hard to lose a beloved pet! I completely understand! I’m so sorry, Sophie. Lovely video! ❤️
That new jacket looks great on you, color and fit! I really love 💗 the black and white jacket blazer.
I know all about bunnies, and .its crushing when you lose them!
That crop jacket colour is stunning on you💞
Sophie that metallic one is nice as heck
Hugs - rabbits are amazing pets and definitely have as much (if not more) personality than cats / dogs 🐰🐇🐰
That last blazer is lovely and fits you so well!!
Your not alone, their customer service is the same in California, I’ve gone to several different stores and their just down right rude.
Same with grieving for birds. ❤️ Pets are pets.
I want a square mini so bad! In a bright happy color🔥🎀🔥
The buttons at the front makes smiley face when you button it
The blazer looks stunning on you, and the color suits you!
CHANEL sales associates are notorious for treating prople like dirt.. and they don't care how it affects the brands image as long as the "every girl dreams of owning a chanel bag" is still propogandized in female society.
plz tell me it wasn't the yorkdale location... I was planning on going there for my first purchase
From what I’ve read, Chanel Toronto is notorious for rudeness! I’ve heard the security person that they have is downright hostile!
I am sorry for your loss. I understand the pain of losing a pet. I send you much love and hugs 🤗
Hi Sophie!
I understand how you were feeling when your rabbit died because when I found out my goldfish died after coming back from a holiday, I was devastated as well
❤️
Unless I missed it, did you sell your mermaid Chanel Boy!? Thats one of my dream bags!
She did! Xx
Thank you and God bless!
your entire collection is so classy and lovely
this was the best collection vid i have ever seen! informative and entertaining, love it xx
love all of your chanel collection so chic and classic.
Thanks for sharing I'm still trying to figure out what chanel bag to buy. This helps💜🙏
Same here in Singapore, entirely agree with you about customer service at Chanel, certainly isn’t a pampering experience.
I've not heard you speak of Selfridge's much, do you ever shop there?
Omg, yes on the Dior customer service. My Dior SA even reached out to me during the pandemic to check-in on me and my family; Hands down, the best service ever... the other fashion houses should take a page out of the Dior customer service book.
I’m saving for the jumbo Chanel I love big bags although I LOVE that silver boy bag that’s absolutely stunning ❤️
