Lookin good Joe!!! You take a lot of pride in your work and it shows. My husband had his own contracting business for 45 yrs till he had his stroke. I turned him onto watching your videos...I want to thank you. You have made him happier now just watching you build. You have a wonderful work ethic!! P.S. those burgers made me hungry. Lol
Thank you Catherine. Please say hello to your husband, I appreciate that you two watch. At least he can watch the videos and complain about how he would do it differently. Haha. Thanks again.
you got my blood moving by watching you work so hard..... i worked my 10 hour day and watched 3/4 of the video, paused it and went and cut the grass..... thanks Joe!!!
Lol. That's awesome. I always say...... The hardest part of doing any project is deciding to get off your ass and get it started.... The rest happens naturally. Lol.
I'm from NYC so I have no clue how I ended up at a channel that covers hunting, fishing, farm life, etc. but thank you RUclips for this suggestion. It's weird, but watching Joe work on his projects actually relaxes me.
Another great video to relax and wind down with. I like the new endings of your video's.... Review snapshots of the accomplishments of the weekend.👌🏻Have a great week you two...Thanks for continuing to share your lives with us.
The difference between when you bought the place and today - with all that horrible weather in between - is stunning. If we hadn't watched your videos, no one would have recognized it as the same place. It's amazing that you can accomplish so much while having to schedule between constant rain storms, snow and cold temperature drops. It all looks so beautiful, you must get a thrill turning into the driveway. I sure do!!
To say you're a driven individual is an understatement. If I didn't know any better I'd say you were possessed. You do fine work and have a truly beautiful property. Thanks for sharing and take care.
This was the very first video I saw that you filmed. I fell in love with your style, peaceful demeanor, and energy. And how you are working on such a variety of projects. As a result of this video, I subscribed to your channel and went to see your collection of playlists. I am so grateful to have found these. Many thanks for all of this.
OMG FINALLY a burn video! I see all the brush and branches you haul out and have been waiting for you to burn something. It satisfies the pyro personality in this Paula! Thanks Joe!!!
You are just amazing, Joe. I can see you get a goodly amount of guidance from Melissa (I do need it too when at home) but you certainly are multitalented and one of the hardest workers I have come across!
Good job! You really inspire me. I work long hours and I don't have time to do regular maintenance around the house. But your videos gives me the drive I need to get things done. Thank you joe.
I stumbled upon this. It's fascinating. I kept checking to see how much time was left, because I didn't want the video to end, lol. I don't usually do this, but I subscribed. Can't wait to see the finished project.
I just came across your video today so will have to follow your channel to see what you ultimately did. I hope you kept the charm of the aged boards. It’s beautiful!
You were talking about the door driving you nuts with it not being square. The fact that you didn't put the header board over the door was making me crazy! lol It was such a relief when I saw it was in. Hahahahaha
Another great video Joe! one of my favorites this year! I really dig the way you reuse materials! I've done hardwood floors for 25 years and its pretty hard to reuse hardwood flooring unless you put in a lot of time tearing it out. Keep em coming man!!!
Joe I'm from Hibbing and your channel just showed up on my recommended...Been in Colorado now many years but you had me hooked from the first video....reminded me of home!!!🤩
I'll be glad when you do something with that hole in the roof, it's worrying me!! LOL The chicken coop is looking good Joe, can't wait to see the finished product. Keep up the good work.
Great job Joe. I watch the video's on my laptop with ear buds. I kept swishing the mosquitoes away...then I found it was the video...lol. Its great to see the progress at the house. I wish I had haif the energy you do!
The wood really made a big improvement on the chicken coop. I love the deck on it. I think it would be adorable painted in yellow with white trim. Of course you know the chickens would want it painted too! lol
Great job 👍👍👍👍👍!i m new subs.i wisch that i had a husband like you,,lol,,👍👍😁😁😁the chickens are Gonna living in luxeury, its a lovely little house for guest!
That looks like a nice shady patch there by the chicken house. I can see it with a nice hosta garden with a couple pretty blue lace cap hydrangeas, and a few daffodils and small bulbs for spring. Low maintenance and beauty.
OK Joe. I think this video is worth a 2nd watch. And now then, since more than 2 years has gone by since you did this work on the chicken "COOP" ... I am thinking that it is more of a "chicken HOUSE" than a coop. It did turn out really cute. At least on the OUTSIDE. good job.
Just found you and watched only a couple videos, well I know already I'm hooked. you dont hem haul around with stories and you get things done. I noticed you use older cookware, grills and you reuse, that's a smart thinking way of living. Love that chicken coop, I'd like that in my back yard...if you ever find some free time I live down here in Iowa, I could put you to work! Great job..now I'm going to have to catch up on your story.
@@janetpryce3147 she was mowing the yard. Besides I suck at building anything heck I can't even cut a straight line 🤣. My forte is cooking, baking, butcher yes I can even make candles 😊. Everyone has their niche. Besides how many people have Joe's energy level?
@Angie Ballenger but alot of women work but still cook food when they get home hun. So she cuts grass on a lawn mover woop woop. And any women who works does house cleaning and laundry n cooks, but she don't cook whilst Joe is busy rebuilding stuff or doing stuff at the tent n she's there legs over chair arm watching tv then he comes in and has to start cooking were she could be doing it instead of him. Like you or any woman would or you would think they would instead if Joe doing everything like he does. She needs help out more.

Also, Joe.....I would pay big big bucks to see you burn more of your stash piles of brush that you have hauled out. Like $10 at least!! :)
Lol. The first 4 inch snowfall and everything is safe. 5 gallons of diesel fuel and a video you will love. Thank You.
@@NorthernSeclusion your $10 is IN the mail!!! I can't wait for that one!
I am so impressed. Great work and nice choice on the reuse of the old deck flooring.

I'm really digging the old look! Looks like a little log cabin! Plus, it's perfect for its surroundings! So cute!

I would love to refurbish wood flooring but like you said, its a real pain to do that. The nails tend to break out when you pull it. Thank you.

Looks great that is a huge improvement.
Nice that you could do all the chicken coop work with refurbished wood. What a money saver. I would paint it
Melissa wants it painted, I assure you it will be. Lol. Yellow boards, white trim and a barn red door.

Gosh the chicken coop I'd make into a guest cottage, but that's just me 🤣. The farmhouse is looking good great job. Blessings to you & Melissa. 😎🇺🇸
Definitely a guest house, with both families. But I don’t know how big the house is.
Be good if she helped joe tho you not think.
