Ann from Alabama here. Since I'm in a small town in East Central Alabama life hasn't been really so different from normal. We still can go get groceries, just not 24/7. They're closing stores at night. Church services are on the internet only. You don't hear school buses in the mornings. I have had the grands last week and will have them next week. The next few weeks are to be crazier. You were showing how windy it was. That describes today, here! Tuesday, 3- 31- 20. We got rain earlier today after having a couple of days of 80° and sunshine. Around lunch the wind picked up. I've had plenty of exercise today: closing the big garbage can lid, grabbing mats that are flying off the porch, and catching tumbling resin chairs from diving off across my yard from the porch! I'm praying it calms down soon. It's 11: 10 pm. It usually stop at dark! We have tornadoes in the spring, so I'm ready for this mess to stop! Can't wait for your next video! Be safe!

About 3 years ago our power was going out a lot. I got tired of messing with my generator and all the gas used in it and worrying if i could get gas in town so i bought a natural gas conversion kit. It cost a little bit but it is well worth the money. Just check the oil every now and then and set back and wait for it to come back on. The best part is that since i done that the power has only been off once and that was just four hours. But it worked great then. And it is dual fuel now so it will still run on gasoline too. If anyone is thinking about doing this i can tell you that mine does a real good job. You can get them for propane too.

you can find a Roll Bar and Canopy for your farmell tractor.. the good is.. you'd be able to work in rain and not get your seat wet.. plug you can install some led lights (the ones you got on the canopy top),
is there a way you can attach the generator to the house (while the power is out)...and have 1 light (low voltage bulb) in the garage or the workshop or even the house thats attached to the company power (shut off switch)..so when the lights do come back on the bulb goes on and you know that you don't need the generator no more.

You can make a lead up and use a 9v block battery to power your modem if the generator runs out of Gas. I wait until I have some extra room in the garbage can and then I have been slowly getting the piles put in there. I have no where else to put it. It does no good to just move the pile from the workshop to another spot because the pile still is there. It just will take some time. You can not beat a good pork steak. Lol. Thank you.

I think this is the storm we had in TN that was pretty bad, lots of lightening, thundering and rain also with some trees down. Think it hit us Sunday ish. Checked my mom's house to see about trees fallen and it's okay, along with mine but I was for sure worried about something like that limb of yours falling on the roof.

During the shut down I am doing shorter ones so I get the content up more often. Also, this video took 7 hours to upload with the internet we have here at the Farmhouse. Normally I film here and then upload at the hobby farm house, that internet is slow but not nearly as slow as here. If I do a real long video it might take 18 to 20 hours to upload here. The shutdown would be over before my current content was posted lol. I am just doing a happy medium for now.

Wow, end of march here in the Midwest where I live and I’m pissed if the temp drops below 50. Everything is greening up here. I don’t think the northern life is for me. I do enjoy the shorter winter and a few good snows, but about mid January I’m done with it and ready for warm days and green grass.

Hamburg gravy, chopped onion, garlic, 1/2 cup mushrooms. Cook up add 2 c. Water, 1 beef bouillon. Bring to a boil. Add 1/4 c cold water with 1/4 c. Cornstarch for thickening. 1 tsp. Bottled brown gravy. Bring to a boiling, simmer for 15 minutes. Great on boiled potatoes or rice. (Sticks to your ribs). Any other seasonings are well appreciated.
