The right to bear arms is a right granted to all citizens. If someone finishes their sentence and parole, they've paid their debt to society and the courts. It's time for convicted felons to stop having to beg for forgiveness for our past mistakes.
I have a sealed record in New York. The case is 20 yrs old. Should i disclose all this information on pennsylvania application to carry? I live in Pa now
What about a 302 (possibly turned into a 201 but very slim chance) happened a few years ago no real attempt made just a note. I can't find anything or anyone to help me with this
A 201 does not disqualify u from owning a firearm. I used to be a mental health delegate in PA. Only 302s get reported to state police for gun rights revocations.
@@PAULYHOTDOGSS damn man. I used to fight with doctors if they wanted me to do a 302 on someone that agreed to sign a 201. Unless there were certain circumstances, but that wasn’t often. I took my job seriously. Always tried to talk ppl into signing a 201 if the situation warranted it to prevent them from having a 302 on their record. I know it’s possible to have your rights restored from a 302, but the more years u wait and have a clean record of mental health, the more likely it is to get it. There was one case I can recall of someone getting them reinstated. They were a veteran that was 302’d at like 18yrs old, served like 7 yrs in military, and got them restored after leaving military. I’ve also had to do 302s on ppl that were already in the psych ward but were trying to sign out and were still a threat to themselves or others. That only happened a few times in 4yrs I had that job
I have a felony marijuana charge for PWID. It’s been 10+ years since my conviction. I haven’t been in any trouble since. How would i go about trying to have my gun rights restored? This happened in PA by the way.
Hello @MikeColeWorld, thank you for reaching out! Restoring gun rights after a felony conviction, especially for Possession with Intent to Deliver (PWID) in Pennsylvania, often involves seeking a pardon or an expungement, depending on the details of your case. Since it's been 10+ years and you’ve had no further issues, you may have a good chance of qualifying. To explore your options and get more specific legal advice from Attorney Walmer, feel free to contact us directly, and we’ll guide you through the process of clearing your record and potentially restoring your rights. Click here to fill out our form: recorderaser.net/erase-my-record/
Thank you for your question! We specialize in Pennsylvania state pardons and expungements, but we do not handle federal presidential pardons and unfortunately, we don’t know of any firms that do. For more information on federal pardons, you can visit the U.S. Department of Justice's official page: www.justice.gov/pardon. If you have any state-related questions, feel free to reach out!
What if you lost your rights (misdemeanor/felony) in another sate, but now live in PA, and have no issues in over 10 years. Can you own a firearm in PA?
The Pardon or expungement needs to be issued from the State of conviction - NOT where you reside. So I clear PA Criminal records, regardless of where you live now.
Hi great video. I would love if you couldn’t help me clear my record its well over 7 years . Looking to do it soon as possible hope to hear back from you.ty
1 st it should not matter if a person mad mistakes in his or her per. If they did what ever time then they should be aloud to have their rights back, ITS A CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT for all American. Personal i feel what we are doing to crimes is being decimated at people with a record. They should have right to protect their family their self and the right to hunt for food. ( But they have to pay taxes not Right give all felony their right s back)

I am 100 percent on board. We the people allowed this. It's up to us to reverse it now. It is such a joke.
Amen
I will be contacting you this week. Thank you for such clear info!
How did things work out?
I have a sealed record in New York. The case is 20 yrs old. Should i disclose all this information on pennsylvania application to carry? I live in Pa now
Ok I went to the website and sent you my info today.
Thank you for reaching out and submitting your info! I hope our team was able to assist you with your expungement or pardon process!
my case is fresh should i wait until a judgement before i contact you its pending and a misdemeanor
Fresh cases should try to avoid conviction. If it becomes a conviction, clearing it will take 5 years or more.
I totally agree
Very informative. Thank you.!
Glad it was helpful!

Whens a good time to go for the pardon?
It depends on the crime, why it occurred and why you are a good candidate.
What about expunging a 201???
I would send you to my partner Alex Egner, Esq.r to consult on removing that - 717-393-1400.

Does an Expungment renew your 2A rights? Thanks in advance!
IF the expungement is filed on the disqualifying offense (after a pardon probably), you 2A rights DO return.
I’ve heard it’s easier to do this up there, how bout in Texas?
Sorry - I have no advice regarding Texas - good luck!
Where do I go to start the process to undo a 302 like petition to expunge it
I would call Alex Egner, Esq. at 717-393-1400 to discuss 302 issues. Tell him I sent you!

Would you help someone that is in Maryland
My conviction is in Connecticut but I live in Maryland and Connecticut said pardon only now what can you help

You need a Pardon!
Oh my crap is out of Indiana but I live in Pennsylvania about 15 years now
You need to remove the record in the state where the conviction was. Good luck!
Move back to the freedom-loving state. :)
@indymac7 seriously lol. Why in the world would you leave indy for Penn. Big lose in regards to personal rights and the nutters in office.
Do I have a chance to have my rights restored after a 10 year old unknown 302?
302 questions are referred to Alex Egner at 717-393-1400.

I agree in general that once a price is paid, the person should not be held back. The system is disempowering and does not know how to fix itself.
What if I was a 16 year old kid when it happened
PA juvenile records can be expunged in most situations. Give a call to 717-925-7820.
