Graviteam Tactics Mius Front : Third Battle of Kharkov 1943

Date is 1942 not 1943 as I initially said in the video. We're on the outskirts of Kharkov and attempting a Winter Counteroffensive to take the city. The conditions are rough, but the Soviets are growing ever more tenacious by the day. We must show them that we can just as easily attack as defend.

I was assaulting a town last night. My scheduled arty was only 1/2 done when the enemies offered a cease fire. Obviously I didn't take it. About 7 minutes later a Continue Battle symbol came up. The manual says it's the enemies "rejecting a cease fire order". I'm pretty sure I didn't offer one. I was confused when that symbol showed up in the events colum. I didn't click on it yet a about 5 minutes later the battle just ended. I was just starting to assault the town to take control of the area. Even though I won the battle. I didn't gain enough territory. Basically a wasted turn.
Any idea on what I should have done so the battle would have continued? I still had an hour and forty minutes left on the timer.

I never even noticed one could continue a battle so it's news to me. I always just assumed that the enemy retreated to a different part of the map and the battle continued later.

Page 57 of the manual. Table 3.11, 5th symbol down. Looks like a shield.The only placed it is mentioned in the manual. Like many things, no explanation. I don't have enough hair left to keep pulling it out.🤦‍♂@@AgrippaMaxentius
