- My honest thoughts on becoming successful as a self employed gardener. This chat isn't about making more money, but what success means to me.
Success means different things to different people. What does success mean to you?
Being self employed is full of ups and downs, follow along as i chat about living healthier and happier life with a simple way of thinking.
success for me as a self employed gardener is getting up each morning & looking forward to the day ahead (I do have the odd day when I have to give myself a little talking to but that comes with working alone).mega money doesn't motivate me to be honest just enough to keep the balance right. the best things in life are free anyway.stay safe.

Great video, great words. Success measured by other people is worthless. You have to be happy with what you do and have done. I had a fantastic landscape and garden business with 7 people and everyone outside was so impressed. But I wasn't working in the gardens anymore and unhappy with it. I've now dropped down to me and one other and so much happier, this is much more successful for me.

That's so very kind. Am not ashamed for what's I've achieved, it's not masses in the scheme of things, but it's enough for me to be content. Hopefully we're both have out extend bit of paradise one day

Hi mate fair play to you for telling us that. I think doing gardening you have to work hard to get where you want to. Does your wife work? My wife works because my wage would be hard if you want nice things. What you been doing today? What's your week like busye?
Hi Carl. Yes she works, and very hard too. We fully share the responsibility of household bills etc. Today I've been finishing up a clearance area I've been on.
A quite week this week with mainly mowing hopefully.
Next week am starting a landscape project for a week all being well.
That's good then mate. Yea that's what my wife helps with the bills etc. Hopefully you have a video of the landscape 👍👍
@@carlwaylett7013 I'll planning on doing one pal. It's lifting a lawn and doing drainage, railway sleeper bed, new lawn and sandstone patio. Booked in for the full week. One issue is all the materials and waste have to go though the house. 🏡
