Hello!
Today, we're building a row of townhouses for very different types of families and households. We also made a sim, Naomi, for one of the townhouses.

These are all so good!!
The grandparents house almost looks like they are the people who have been living in the apartment the longest & it never got a renovation so it still has all the old appliances & wall paintings. All of the homes have so much character! :)

all these years i've been using the "pink frog painting" (in a pink frame) in nearly all my builds. happy little frog, enjoying a swim.
today i learned, it's actually a painting of two people embracing. (it's on the shelf next to the cactus, during the intro).
That’s so funny 🤣 now I need a painting of a happy little frog swimming!

Love how every unit has its own personality, lots of colours and detail, tells a great story! I would like some type of garage-based stuff pack (kind of like fast lane in Sims 3) maybe with the car item from Roaring Heights that could be fixed up, not sure cars would need to move around though.
I don't particularly even want cars, but I do think it's crazy that this many years on they haven't given us some kinda upgrade to make transportation to different lots more realistic. Cars, even in the form of car services, and especially for the car-fixing skill is a no brainer. I would personally love a realistic metro feature, but that's just because I love building subway stations, haha
my favorite's gotta be the grandparents apartment. the story telling aspect is tops! though, i'd prolly choose to live in the yellow one. the airy vibe and soft colours, while still feeling "lived in" are def more my personal vibe.

i’m really not bothered about having cars in the sims 4 but like you said, having something like in sims 2 might be interesting.

I would love a sims 2 car system in the sims 4. Cars are such a huge part of real life and it feels weird not having them in this sims game!

In the near decade this game has been out at this point, I've only once ever wanted car gameplay, as I'm currently building the Taylor house from the sitcom Home Improvement. I made it work with a junker shell from Debug, but some tool chests and other accessories that go in garages, different tools, tool benches etc would have been useful. Cars would make for a nice Game Pack, being able to fix them up (Like The Sims 3) but maybe having different models to pick from, paint and interior options (like Cakes in MWS but better). I don't need to drive them, I just want to have them for skill building, a teen skill (learning how to drive, like how children learn to ride bikes), and a new woohoo spot. Plus the detailing accessories that come along with them (oil stains, socket sets, tool cabinets and chests, wall posters with babes laying on car hoods, car parts, powered ride on cars for kids or even non-powdered like the Cozy Coupe for toddlers, shop lights, new car shells etc.) I want to build fancy Jay Leno-style garages but these Sloppy Jalopys aren't doing it for me.
Edit because my brain kept coming up with ideas. And a few formatting typos.
