It only runs off of a auto pilot control and i haven't been able to get it to work since I've owned the boat. The motor runs great, i just need to get it into the shop to have the auto pilot looked at lol. Thanks for watching our videos 👍

@@fathersonoutdoors8049 alright I was thinking of trying it this year for lingcod and potentially halibut, do you fish for halibut same distance as salmon or more further out ?

So if your only 30ft down with the ball so how far back are you running from the ball?
In shallow water i like to get my flasher away from the prop wash, so I'm running it back about 20 to 25 feet back

@JC-es3rs it might actually be more like 30 35 ft now that i think about it. Deep water is probably more like 15 to 20 ft.
