Hi Alice ! You must be the first youtuber ever to include a short ( and very spot on ) cutting with Gabielle Chanel , her voice and this Parisian attitude ... voilà la vraie parisienne . Enjoyed as usual ... and greetings from Paris 😀
I have a Moynat Gabrielle handbag and I love it. As you described, the quality is incredible. I like how understated it is and that not very many Americans have one. I can’t wait to show an Sezanne when we’re in Paris in a few months. I already have a wish list created.
Fabulous video Alice! Channel or Celine are my favourites too can’t beat the classic timeless style these brands have whether that’s a fragrance or scarf etc for channel or the simplicity of Celine both look great year are year❤
Fauré le Page is AMAZING! My Daily Battle is one of my very favorite bags and online customer service is superb as well as packaging when having shipped to you.❤❤❤
Hello It is different same "style" but one is even more understated. Guibert is more Parisian because it is a small brand and the R.Gossein clasp is so so edgy and chic
This is very timely and reminds me of what I want to consult you for, vis a vis our upcoming trip to Paris. We will be there for two weeks and want to only visit the places Parisians visit, not American tourists. We have been to Paris many times but this time we are bringing a 15 year old and so we want to show her a few iconic spots, but mostly frequent the more locally appreciated ones. I hope you will some day do a suggestion of the things to visit in Paris for the non-tourist among us. Thank you so much, Alice.😍
hello Liz yes let me think about it but there are definitely favorite places by Parisian depending of the season but if you check my vlogs it give you an idea. Let me think about a video
@@Aliceinparisofficial Thank you, Alice. I don't want to put you to any extra trouble on this. It just occurred to me that you are far more familiar with the most interesting places to go in Paris than I am, certainly, and I also trust your judgment above many other influencers or travel sites that might make recommendations as to where to see the best of Paris that we often miss. Only if you would like to do it and have time. 😇
Thanks so much for these recommendations. I'd love more videos like this with recommendations for clothing boutiques, patisseries, cafes, etc so that I'll have more authentic experiences rather than fall victim to tourist traps when I visit Paris next year. Alice, which are your favorite museums? Thank you for wonderful video today.
I will do for gourmet, café, macaron, restaurant, even night club. My favorite museum is Musée d'Orsay because I love impressionist. I also love the Louvre because it is so big
Great video! Do you think you could have one about how to choose a good scarf and style it like the French (like you do!). Adding the scarf looks so elevated.
Ok one of these days I will jump on the Eurostar from St Pancras and visit Paris for some macaroons and a lovely glass of that expensive champagne. Yes that’s the life🥂🎉 Thanks for making my mouth water … hehehehe🥳
I'm the co-host of Global Impact and as well a French expat in LA. Good job on your channel and representing our country! Love the silk scarf you are wearing, is it Hermes vintage? 🙂
I don't understand how you can have Chanel amongst the 10 best. Their quality today is terrible. There are videos all over RUclips about the terrible quality. It's such a shame what happened to the brand Coco created. For Hermes, these bags are made by Chinese or Eastern Europeans living in France. They only pay their artisans 1,700 Euros a month, which is not a living wage for a Frenchmen or Frenchwoman.
Hello thank you for raising this question. First I don't understand why "luxury youtubers" take pride to show the "terrible quality" of Chanel...while praising Louis Vuitton or Fendi... It seems trendy these days to shame Chanel or Hermes...why is that???!! Oh I know maybe because they don't "sponsor"...I keep repeating the only things worth to buy is Chanel classic bags (2.55 and classic flap bag). Same for Hermes. Quality has downgraded in every single luxury brand mostly. If people are so disappointed with Chanel or Hermes why keeping posting these annoying "luxury unboxing" and keep buying?? Concerning the wages...1 700 is considered a good salary here in France but I find it so hypocrite....If you are so concerned about inequalities so stop buying luxury by all mean or buy only true quiet luxury such as Brunello which is for the most of us unaffordable. I will be extremely careful with these videos "all over youtube" since it is easy to bash brands that simply don't need to sponsor. My Chanel bags are fined and I never had any issue. I buy consciously.
I have lived in Paris since 2012 and Parisians seem to be very critical of Chanel and people who wear Chanel...they look you over as if you were a superficial, materialistic person (I say that by proper experience)....I have never seen people so against their own marks and savoir faire...they should be proud but it has not been my experience unfortunately....Maybe it is a question of social levels here...who knows...but even the rich ask you: Why do you wear Chanel? there are other understated brands?!?" ......sad....
Hello I do not have the same experience. It really depends where you live in Paris. In the 16th and 8th and most of the rive droite (right bank) people wear their Chanel bags. They don't brag about it so they wear it for rendez-vous, for casual meeting or in nice/fancy place for date night. They also wear casually hermes on an everyday basis like Jane Birkin used to do. The key of the Parisian style is to wear luxury casually meaning something that is also practical and useful to you. We do not worship our expensive items like some people do. This is really the key of the Parisian style.
Did the people working at these French luxury brands really get off like six weeks for summer? and free healthcare and free child care and free, fertility care?

I love this! Have you also tried Pinel et Pinel? I passed by their store when I was in Paris. I think their totes are great as well.
Hello never try this brand but interested to take a look thx
Hi Alice! Thanks for the lovely video and all the information that you share! I was wondering what your opinion is about dihn van and messika.

Hi Alice,
I am surprised you didn’t add Christian Dior?
Hopefully, all is well with you. I love your outfit.

Bonjour, merci pour ce Video, j‘ai une question Alice - quelle est ton opinion sur Saint Laurent et les sacs de ce brand?
Very overrrated for the price honestly... I like the Maillon ... but I don't think this is worth the price
